    10/31/24  I was finally able to speak with the owner today and he said he is willing to sign a promissory letter to ensure we are repaid in time.  In the course of the conversation we learned some of what had occurred to cause the issues.  I am hopeful this will provide us a resolution.

    I do not accept the response from the contractor to my complaint.  He has a history of not responding to my telephone calls or text messages. My last text to Eric Molton was on July 10th to which he responded that he was coming to my home to look at the roof. He said that he would send John out on July 11, 2023. Since neither he nor John came and he has not yet contacted me, it became necessary for me to get the roof repaired. I did ask Mr. Molton if I should have the roof repaired on my own and he reimburse  me since no attempt was being made to get the roof repaired.   I thought about not being reimbursed by so I asked him to arrange for someone else to fix it.  No response from him, so I had to get the leak repaired on my own. As for the floor situation, my piano has always been on wood floors and I have never had a problem. Besides the area where the piano sits is on the opposite side of  the affected area.  I do have text messages from Mr. Molton stating that he and John would come out. I did call John also about the leak . He stated that he would pass the message on to Mr. Molton since he hadn't work with him in quite a while.lem and I want to be reimbursed for the cost of the repair. I am also having to redo my floors that Eric Molton would not take responsibility for . I reported that the wood was popping up before the warranty expired. But Eric sent his workers after the 1 year warranty expired to look at the flooring. They would not fix the problem because they claim that it wasn't their fault. I had other contractors look at the floor and that stated that the floor was not laid correctly. That warranty has expired now . Now I have to pay to get my floor redone. I am a single senior citizen on a fixed income . I would like to be reimbursed for the repair of my roof.

    Customer contacted me on a weekend. I did respond to her but it was raining. I had crew scheduled to come and take a look. But the customer went ahead a hired a roof crew to fix a leak. We didn't have a chance to take a look to see if it was the responsibility of Sunview. As far as hers floor we have been out to take a look at the popping up of her floor. And the conclusion of that is at no fault of Sunview. She has a 1000 lb. piano sittting on her floors that is causing it to pop up. Her labor and material warranty has expired after 1 year.  Sunview

    All work has a 1 year labor and materials warranty. Customer did not give us a chance to take a look at the roof before she took it among herself to repair the roof leak on her own. Sunview is not responsible after the one year warranty. Sincerely Sunview.

     I am rejecting this response because: My lease is for 2 years.  It will end 12/29/2023. The company did have ample time to act. Eric Moton 

    promised that he would come out and thar his worker John would come out and neither showed up or called me. Eric Moton never said to me that he was coming.  He was well aware that this was an emergency and that I told him that maybe I should contact another company.
