On January 27 the company named sent a technician to my residence at my request.
I was not present but an adult that lives there was.
My **** cam informed me of his arrival and approximately 45 minutes later I witnessed through the camera the technician harassing my tenant for $100 for his work. Nowhere in the conversation was an explanation for what was wrong with the ac unit or a fix for it.
I was then rudely called and told to pay $100. I complied and asked what I needed to do to fix my problem. The woman on the phone didn't know.
I arrived home and the usual paper "work order" that the resident signs was not there.
I called the office and was transferred to an estimator for a new unit who I agreed to see and gave me a very non detailed estimate for $11,000
This company appears to want to scam people to buy new units instead of fixing what's there.
I'm not sure how they do account numbers. They just ask for my address

In response to Mr. ******'s complaint. Mr. ****** called in a service call and was told by our office several times that this call would be COD. This account was put on COD because of late payments in 2022. A technician went out and checked his unit and found several problems. (See attachment)

The person at the house signed the invoice and was given a copy of the invoice. The technician asked to collect and what I understand it was Mr. ******'s son and he did not have the money for us to collect at this time in which Mr. ****** was told we had to collect before we left. The technician explained that the unit was out of warranty, and we would have to call and get a price on the parts but in the meantime, he might want to at least get a price on a new unit because he thought the repairs might be close to 1/2 the price of a new unit with very little warranty on only the parts replaced.

I purchased a Trane HVAC from P and H Mechanical in May 2020 with a three year warranty. In 2021, the unit had problems and P and H came out to replace the compressor. In April 2022, the unit stopped cooling but the fan ran constantly. P and H came out (we have a service agreement with them in addition to the warranty) to fix it and without looking, replaced the thermostat. The problem persisted. P and H has now come to look at the unit no less than 12 different occasions. The technician is rude, incompetent, and does not seem to have experience or desire to fix the problem. There is not another company in Summerville who can help. Despite repeated messages and conversations with the owner I have no resolution and a 90 degree house. At this point, I'd like the Trane HVAC replaced with a functional unit or a full refund of the $9,400 we paid in order to replace the unit with another company.

Please refer to the attached documents for specifics:

Item dated 3/26/20: the customer did not pay $9,400.00, she paid $7,966.50 for Option #1.

      Item dated 2/20/21: warranty motor.

Item dated 5/4/21: capacitor was replaced on the upstairs Payne unit.

NS 202222 dated 12/10/21: we removed unit and duct work, never heard from the customer, we did not reinstall the duct or the unit.

      Item dated 4/22/22: warranty.

      Item dated 5/16/22: warranty.

      Item dated 5/31/22: warranty.

      Item dated 6/3/22: warranty.

Item dated 7/27/22 #2022-232: labor and reversing valve warranty, consumables no warranty.

I feel we have no obligation to warranty anything else going further and we shouldn't have done any warranty after the unit was reconnected by another company. Today, I learned another company reconnected the unit that we were warranting, which voids any warranty we have. I feel she needs to call the company that reconnected the unit. We have bent over backwards to make her happy and cannot, she is very rude to my staff and demanding.

In reference to her complaint about compressor replacement in 2021, we have no record of any compressor being replaced by us.
