This is a repo company who makes you pay them cash on the side after you've already paid the lender. The lender let's us know that when we make the payment to them that we are already paying a the fee for the towing company. So there should be no more money owed. They send the release to us. But this nar service company not only makes us pay an additional 125 dollar fee, they charge you by the day and make it impossible for you to pick up the same day, adding on more fees. They tell us to only bring cash (red flag) then they also refuse to give out receipts (red flag). The young lady the tows the vehicles gets off on tell us things like we shouldn't let our car get repossessed or it's not her fault we gotta pay, we should be more responsible. That is definitely not a way to speak to a person at all! I was threatened and called a few names because I insisted/demanded on having a receipt...they are robbing us and pocketing the money literally and it's like we just have to sit back and take it! That's not fair at all and they should stop ripping ppl off. We are in the middle of a pandemic still and it's hard enough for everyone out here without having to deal with businesses like this. They need to be stopped!!!!

    Business Response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/06/09) */ My response is not specific to any one recovery but in general to how the process works. When a consumer pays their lender, they are paying to satisfy their loan and recovery fee. Beyond that the consumer is responsible to pay storage and redemption at the time they redeem their car. That is customary and one should be expect to pay storage you would pay storage or parking at any airport or parking garage. Do to the fact we have had to many checks bounce and we will not pay cc processing fees we only take currency in the form of cash. The claim is not correct of no receipt. We don't do a paper receipt but the they get a digital receipt emailed or texted to them while they are in the lobby. As far as same day they are also correct we do not do someday appointments. As I am sure one can understand this is a 100% safety issue for our staff. We completely understand and are empathetic to the consumer during what can be a difficult time however safety is a primary Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/06/10) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Lender makes us aware that ALL FEES WERE INCLUDED AND ADVISES US NO OTHER MONEY ID OWED. These ppl don't care and just go out the way to get extra money under the table. If the company who is hiring them already pays them please explain why we are paying anything extra?? And it's cash only aka untaxed and straight in their pockets. They make it impossible for you to pick up the same day or the next day so they add on more fees. They need to be stopped. They are already getting paid for services? And storage for a day. Correct? So again why am I paying an additional fee and being denied a receipt and then being told that I should pay my bills and not let my car get repossessed. They are forcing us to pay extra and it's under the table
