This facility is lovely. My Husband & I were content here. I last saw him on a Thursday night about two years ago. When I came back Saturday morning he was gone & I have not seen him since. He had not been checked out & no-one knew he was gone. I was told by staff that he was apparently kidnapped. When the Administrator arrived she did not seem concerned & did not call authorities. I left in shock & after several calls I was told he was taken by his family. That was it....no concern where he was or if he was taken willingly or if he was safe. To this day I have not been able to locate my husband. The police have tried but were easily turned away. DSS no help at all. How could a secure facility not know that a resident had been taken. He had dementia & should have been accounted for at the very least daily. If I hadnt come back Sat AM how long before they discovered him gone & what if he had wandered out on his own. It has taken me this long to be able to even write this review.

One star for the marketing department which is fantastic at making you think that living at Harmony is going to be a great experience. Zero stars for what they actually delivered. My parents moved into Harmony early in May. Besides housekeeping and maintenance being nearly non-existent, and the terrible food and lack of service in the dining room, there are much bigger issues. In late July, the staff was fully masked, but the senior residents were never warned that there was an outbreak of Covid among the staff. My parents contracted Covid after talking to a kitchen staff member who was infected. Both parents were hospitalized within 3 weeks. My dad passed away due to Covid complications in late August. My mom is still receiving skilled nursing care. While they were there, we filled out an authorization to have their rent withdrawn automatically, but when they failed to do so in July, we began writing checks instead and revoked their auto draft authorization. I tried repeatedly to speak with staff to get the financial aspect cleared up, but no one in their business office responded. Today I checked their account and Harmony has withdrawn thousands of dollars from their account. We are taking legal action for the reckless treatment of my parent’s health and their finances. If you are considering this place, listen to your instincts and the negative reviews. Even among members of the health care field since my parents were first hospitalized, I have heard so many negative stories. And that big check in the lobby promising a $3000 referral for getting a friend to move in, you will never receive the 3k credit on your account and you will subject your friends to a horrible experience.

Very disappointed in their management. I was initially trying to get my parents into Harmony because it looked like a good assisted living facility at a reasonable price. I placed a $1500 deposit to reserve a room, but given some unforeseen health problems I had to cancel the reservation. To Harmonys credit, they made it quite clear there was a $500 fee for canceling before I made the deposit. However, trying to get a refund for the remaining $1000 has been a nightmare. You can make the deposit through credit card, but according to their representative, they are unable to refund through the same system, and it takes 6 weeks to process a check to be mailed back to you, all of which was NOT made clear to me before the deposit. This along with the $500 fee seemed excessive to me, but caveat emptor. I had hoped that patient understanding would prevail in this instance, but 4 months later and I am still trying to get my refund. The only thing I have received are unanswered phone calls, insipid excuses, and no end of unfulfilled promises. To be clear, I cannot speak to the actual care they give their residents since I obviously have no family members living there, but if their business practices are any indication, I wouldn't leave my dog in their care. They are highly suspect to say the least, and I would think twice before trusting your family members here. As of this date I am still waiting for the 13th time for them to "get back to me to expedite the problem". If they eventually do make good on the refund with a legitimate excuse I would be happy to redact my complaint, but my gut tells me they have no intention of giving back any portion of the money they owe me, and I will be left with a $1000 lesson in humility.
