    On November 4th entered into an agreement with D.L. White to complete some repair work on my home.

    The total cost was to be $1600 max (including some unforeseen issues).
    I paid $600 to DL White on 11-04-2024 for materials to get job started.
    Based on DL White’s assessment of damage to windows, I agreed to the additional $200 per window to install them. A total of 2 windows were to be replaced.
    I paid DL White $426 on 11-05-24 for the cost of 2 windows.
    On 11-07-24, DL White asked for an additional $400 payment. I agreed and paid another $400.
    O 11-14-24, DL White provided me with an invoice showing additional charges for extra work performed. Note: there was no mention while working that there would be extra cost. Normally, I would have hoped for some updates stating this was not included in my original quote. Since he had already mentioned in his original quote about unforeseen this extra cost caught me off guard.
    I paid DL White a partial payment of $1,506 on 11-14-24. I mentioned I would pay the balance when the job was finished.
    DL White insisted on the balance since he had to meet payroll. Even going so far as to state do you think I am not going to finish.
    I paid DL White the balance of $500 on 11-04-24. I assumed he was a man of his word.
    On 11-18-24, I texted DL White when he planned to finish,. He texted he would be by on 11-19-24.
    DL white texted me if I would be home on 12-09-24 as he was coming by. No showed due to issues with his truck.
    DL White texted me on 12-10-24 he would be here in 30 minutes. No show again.
    DL White and I texted back and forth from 12-11-24 thru 03-26-25 (a total of 23 texts). There was excuse after excuse.
    I texted DL White on 03-26-25, that unless he planned to finish by 04-04-25 I would have to go in another direction to get my money for work not completed.
    So a job I expected to cost me $2,426 ended up costing $3,432. And DL White has still not completed the work for which he has been paid.

    On Sept 16,2024 we paid Donnie White $1,403.00 to replace the Facia and Trim on the front of our home. He also installed 4 screws at the bottom of our back porch hand rail. On October 30, 2024 we noticed that the Facia and Trim on the front of the house was coming loose and separating. We called Mr. White and he came and looked at it. He said "well I've never seen that happen before". He agreed with us that the Facia and Trim would have to be replaced. Then Mr. White said "I don't know how I'm going to afford that. He said he was going straight to ***** (where he bought the wood) and talk to the store manager. We did not hear from White for 5 days. He finally called us on Nov. 5th and said he knew he would have to "eat it" and replace the whole front facia and trim. He said he was still waiting to hear from Lowe's store manager about the wood he had used. We heard nothing from White for another 4 days. Then on Saturday Nov. 9 we called White and he said he would be at our house the next week and re-do the facia and trim. We did not hear from White for another 9 days. He called on the morning of Monday Nov 18, but we missed his call as we were not home. White left no message. When we came home and checked our caller ID we saw where White had called. We called him back, he didn't answer. My husband left White a message saying we saw where he had called and to please call us back and let us know why he had not come to fix the Facia and Trim the past week like he said he was going to do. Over the next 6 days we called White each day and left him a message to please call us. He never did. On Nov 23 I used my sisters cell phone to call White to see if he would answer as he wouldn't recognize the phone number. He did answer that call. After he said Hello, I said Donnie, this is ****** ********. At that point he said nothing, just hung up on me. I called him back a minute later and it went right to voice mail without ringing.
