    At the end of November of 2024, Scott B****** and his brother-in-law, Jeffrey B******, with Southern Improvements were in my mother's neighborhood and provided me with a verbal quote for tree services. The business committed to providing trimming of the tree and to pick up the debris. I also have a video saved on my phone of the services they wanted to provide, as well as back and forth communication regarding the same. The verbal quote given to me was for $1,500.00 and I agreed to hire the company, even though no paperwork was given to us. On 11/24/2024, my sister met them at the property and paid them in full and in cash, see attached receipt. As you can see from looking closely at the date, someone tried to add a mid-circle to make it seem like we paid on 12/24/2024. You can see the difference! On the same date, the company cut part of the tree down, but in the process, they broke my mother’s fence and the cement picnic table. They also never came back to finish the job, leaving debris in the yard, and they will not answer nor return any of our calls. To this date, Scott and Jeffrey B****** have not contacted us by telephone or email. We even had a paralegal friend get involved and still no call back or email to this date. We ended up separating the limbs and paid another person to remove the bigger logs and take away the debris, which cost $400.00. Lastly, Scott's contact number is in service, and we have proof that he's still giving out quotes. We also found other bad reviews in this company with the same complaints. Taking the funds, not finishing the jobs, and vanishing. The nature of my dispute is for the owner, Scott B******, to call us back to repair my mother’s fence, cement picnic table, and provide us with a full refund.
