I called them and told them what I was looking for. Gave him all the information he asked for. They called with a price and we made a few changes and I signed a contract and paid down 8763.63 leaving me a $5000 dollar balance. Legacy ordered the pool and said it would take up to two weeks to get everything in. And they would install within a week of all materials coming in. This was august first or so. On Friday before they came a man called and asked if we would be home Monday to show them where to install the pool. I said you are replacing a pool the exact same size and shape. He says they would be at my house first thing Monday. We around 10:30 I called the store and got the salesman. He claimed he had no way to contact the crew to give me an eta. At this point I lost confidence in his word. While on the phone the crew pulled up. We went over where I wanted the steps to be installed. I had watch videos from manufacturers and knew they had to be put in first. Next thing I knew legacy was calling and denying he knew the original pool was sunk in the ground approximately one third of the way around. I told him I had went over that with him before he quoted the job. He said it was going to cost more because of this but he could not say how much until after they had done the work. I asked to speak with owner and he says he was not in. So I asked to have him call me asap. The crew continued to work and took down our old pool and started putting up the new pool. I went to the crew again and tried to tell him that the steps needed to go up first before the pool walls. Went inside and called the store again. Legacy was very rude and again the owner was not available. This was around noon I think. They crew continued to put up the walls and it got to be 4:30 and no call from the owner about price change or step installation. I called the manufacturer and talked to them. Next morning they called and asked me to send pictures.

Well i can say i am disappointed in the way all this was handled from the beginning. Our work day starts at 8:00 so we have a 2 an a half hour drive to her house. When the guys get here we must load the trailer then leave. We never stated what time we would be there only that morning. Once on site Patrick called me and stated the pool was buried on one side. We then called the home owner and to discuss what we would have to do, we bill by the hour so we cant give a price if we don't know how much time it will take. Patrick was a little upset and started digging out and removing the old pool.  We were told the pool had a deep end but never that the pool was buried in the ground. Without thinking he started building the pool wall first and Mrs Patterson called Doughboy and stated we were building the pool wrong. I reached out to Doughboy after receiving an email and picture of what was going on. Called and talked to Patrick and got him straight, This was only the second time he had built this pool with the builtin step. So the step goes down first then the wall. Every other above ground does not have a step and the wall goes first. simply mistake. The guys were out there to install the liner the day the Hurricane came thought was in the rain trying to get the liner in. Mrs Patterson had 2 water trucks there to fill the pool at her expense as per the contract we are not responsible for water. She wrote a check for what she thought was the balance was. She called and sent an email about some issues she had with the pool and we set up a time for Friday to go out and take care what ever she needed done. But then get get a letter from the bank that her check was sent back for NSF. Reached out to her and she stated she stop payment on the check because of the issue needed to be corrected before she would pay. That did not go well with me and we sent her a letter stating her check was returned NSF which the bank charges a fee as we all know. Never got reimburse for that. We went back and forth for a while the we decided that we would do the right thing and just go against our contract and do the repairs before getting paid. Sent the guys out there did the repairs that she requested and she signed stating she was satisfied with the repairs. She wrote a check which she stated it would be a Cashier Check it was not. The check she wrote was not the balance that was due and stated if we wanted it would we have to sue her for it. In close I feel we here have went above and beyond what was called for in this matter. And we still are out for the $753.83 which she refuses to pay. Not sure why everyone seem to think the owner to call them, I pay people to do there job and that is one of. I guess when they have a problem with there Verizon bill the want the CEO of the company to call them.
