    Around the week of 7/11/2024 Paid ****** for a golf trip on 8/7-8/11 2024.There was a Hurricane named ***** came through Myrtle Beach 8/6-8/9 and was a state of emergency by the Governor of SC. There was extreme flooding making it dangerous to travel to Myrtle that week. Not only that but the dangerous hurricane was also a danger. I contacted the golf masters and was told there would be no refund for the trip. They were willing to put its customers in ***** way rather than refund me or let us pick up a make up date. We have been using this company for over 15 years with no issues. As a regular customer would figure they would have taking care of us. I would like a refund for this trip that I could not go on.Package number16867

    I have to ask the salesperson what happened here because I am not aware of any problems with this group. If he wanted to cancel he needed to go through the group leader ******* ******, because it his package.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    It seems there should have been an investigation before they responded with basically nothing. ******* ****** did contact the sales person a couple times asking for some of the group to cancel the response he got is no refunds on any rooms and no refund on any gold unless the course was totally closed. I still would like a refund on the lodging and the golf that wasnt refunded. we each got 56 bucks back for one course. Again given how the flooding and the storm was I was unable to travel there. thank you.

    After speaking with the sales person he informed that the request to cancel was made 2 days prior to arrival date. We are not allowed by the lodging and golf course properties to cancel anything within 7 days of arrival, not our rule but theirs. So basically our hands are tied. We can refund any golf that was not played provided the golfer(s) returns the rain checks to us.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    Yes we tried to cancel because of a natural disaster. Hurricane came through and was a state of emergency in myrtle beach. You cant plan ahead for that. Your ability to get refund on rooms in those situations is on your business and should not be a customers problem in a natural disaster situation. The business should eat that cost. Also the people that didnt go would not have any rain checks to send you as we were over 5 hours away. Talking to our trip planner they didnt receive any rain checks for us because we didnt go. I would appreciate a refund of most of this trips cost.
