    Hi my name is ******** ******** my children were signed up for summer camp at Lee Rd Baptist Church for the summer with a lot of other children about 113 children all together we just received last week that they were closing the camp never got a reason why they said financial problems but alot of parents have already paid for the whole summer I have for both of my children and now I don't have a camp for them or the money because I've been paying every Fri 210.00 and now I'm out my money I've talked to moms and they really don't care we just want our money back but just need answers it's been on the news wyff and the pastor of the church has not said anything about refunds I only have a receipt for what I paid for the whole summer 520.00 all together and 210.00 for 5 weeks

    The complaint has been resolved with direct communication between the CDC Audit team and *** ********. 

    Due to mismanagement of student files and enrollment forms we were unaware of the children's enrollment in the program, along with the lack of receipts for multiple payments in cash, we had no way to know, in advance of this complaint, that a refund was due. 

    Upon receiving the complaint the Audit team reached out to *** ******** and reconciled the over payment of $320.00 worth of activity fees paid. The Audit team also reconciled payments for services render in the amount of $210.00 per week for 5 weeks.  The team made *** ******** aware that a check in the amount of $320.00 will be available for her to pick up on Monday July 8, 2024. 

    *** ******** is aware that the Audit team was responsible to get the funds reconciled. *** ******** indicated that she recognized that the lack of receipts was between the CDC Director and herself.  We believe that this issue has been resolved in a timely and professional manner, given the lack of information provided to the Audit team by the previous Director.

    We, the Audit team, would like to go on record stating that Pastoral staff member Matt B****** was in no way directly involved in the CDC business.
