    I have used Tilmon tax preparation services for over 7 years. I have had the same bank account information for 20 years. My 2022 taxes were prepared by Tilmon. My tax returns were deposited into an account that was not mine which does not make sense considering she has my account info and nothing has changed. It is now 1/2024 and I still don’t have my 2022 returns due to her negligence. With the help of a representative from the IRS it was brought to my attention the preparer has not signed her name nor included her PTIN ever on any tax document she has prepared for me specifically 2022 taxes making it appear as if I filed my own taxes which is incorrect and exhibits misconduct. She also has never provided me a copy of my return and has refused to provide a copy even after requested. She also filed 2 amendments without my knowledge and consent and apparently filed them incorrectly. The tax preparer has taken no responsibility and has offered little to no help in rectifying this situation she caused despite me paying her $260.00 to prepare my taxes. She did return $130.00 to me due to her mistake but refuses to refund me the remaining moneys for the services I paid for that were not completed with accuracy. The preparer keeps telling me this error is not her fault that it was the fault of the “IRS transducer” which is clearly an excuse for some faulty behavior. As mentioned above she has never once included her signature or PTIN number on any document prepared by her. My tax returns for 2022 are about $9,000. I have reason to believe Tilmon has my $9,000 deposited into her own personal account. We all make mistakes if this was truly a mistake tilmon would be offering assistance in rectifying the situation. Instead she is ignoring me and refusing to assist me. I want my $9,000 as well as the remaining $130.00 that I paid her to complete a service which was not completed.
