I ordered a heater for my mom and sister to pick up before a cold front and they refused to give it to them, took many phone call for the business to ever pick up. they were very unhelpful and have basically stolen from me. very disappointed. last time I was in the store they had panhandlers inside asking people for money and refused to do anything about it.

Thank you for your concern.  Paradise Home Center has been in business for over 75 years and prides itself in a great customer experience.  As technology has allowed businesses to expand their markets, so too have cases of fraud and scams.  To that end, our store policy for online orders is that only the designated pickup person is allowed to pick up orders placed online with valid ID.  I will address each of this customer’s complaints in turn.
First, per the attached order, the customer entered his name and only his name as the pickup person.
Second, the customer called during our busy hours.  While we strive to answer every incoming call, when sales associates are engaged with other in-store customers, unanswered calls are directed to an automatic answering service that has voice mail.  Instead, the customer chose to repeatedly call until an associate answered.  He was rude and constantly interrupted the sales associate who knew nothing of the order and was trying to get up to speed on his complaint.  Our sales associate then then directed him to our inside sales manager/buyer as online orders are her responsibility.  She apologized for the issue and told the customer the order would be canceled and refunded.
Third, he claims our business has “basically stolen” from him.  Considering the order was cancelled and his money refunded, this claim is unfounded.
Lastly, to his claim of panhandlers, our business has never allowed panhandlers inside our store asking for money.  This customer must have us confused with another business.
In summary, all of this customer’s complaints should be dismissed as he designated himself as the only authorized pickup person and subsequently his order was cancelled and his money refunded.  The panhandler issue has no bearing on this complaint.  Our pickup policies apply for items purchased both in-store and online and are for the expressed purpose of protecting our valued customers.
If I or anyone on our staff can be of further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Still have not received refund from the extremely rude and unhelpful employees. I will not stand to be stolen from. Very Lazy business and the reviews show how poorly it is ran

As far as the refund, the customer would do well to consult the issuing bank.  The credit has left our account.

A reminder, this customer gave our business a one-star review because he could not follow instructions.  This entire issue could have been avoided had he paid attention to what he was doing.  This customer owes our staff an apology for his rudeness and half-truths.

This matter is closed.  Good day.
