    I bought a new house in 2021 from Hurricane Builders and they told me that they would come back and fix all the issues with in a year. I already had a couple of people to come out and say that they would be back to fix the issue but never did. I have cracks going up and down my stairs, I have spots that need to painted, my floors upstairs is squeezing, I have a hole around my air duct in the roof and the grass that was put down doesn’t grow which makes me have the worst yard in the neighborhood. I am a disabled veteran and I can’t fix their mess.

    This company is building a home next to ours. Despite ample parking elsewhere, they have been parking in front of property and trespassing. We asked that they not do that as our house was recently completed and has fresh sod that we do not want damaged. Spoke to site manager who advised he would talk to the crew.

    Crew member again parked in front of our property yesterday at which time we again asked them to move his truck. A different crew member threw a hissy fit and responded with "Go back inside where you belong. Go back inside and nag your husband. Contractor already warned us about your kind." They did however move their truck.

    We were not going to lodge any formal complaints based on these two interactions, but that changed after the encounter we had today.

    Husband was outside working on our vehicle. Crew showed up and while they didn't park in front of our property, they indirectly threatened physical violence while working despite us not even acknowledging them today. Threats included (again saying it loud enough that my husband could hear) calling myself and my husband b@#ch*s and saying that we don't know who we are messing with as they would f&*k our world up and beat our as**s.

    Hurricane Builders' management found out about this incident last week, after this review was submitted, but before we received notice of it today, and Hurricane Builders took swift action. We have already spoken with the homeowner and ensured the parties responsible for this employee were made aware of the situation. Again, we do deeply apologize for the unprofessionalism shown by this subcontractor. This person does not represent Hurricane Builders or our company values, and we have ensured this employee will not work on a Hurricane build again. Our goal is always to serve our homeowners and our community with honesty, personal responsibility, and mutual respect.
