I've had an O2 perscription from the VA for a service connected condition for over 10 years. I've had Oxygen delivered to my house from two prior companies that delivered for the VA. About 4 months ago Transox got the contract for supplying O2 in my area. These people WILL NOT DELIVER MY OXYGEN!!!. They show up whenever they want and tape a note to the door that they were here. At the same time they have to STEP AROUND nearly 30 empty tanks on my front porch to put the note on my door. They refuse to exchange my empty tanks for new tanks AS THEY ARE CONTRACTED to do with the VA. I've called over and over and am told I have to be there for them to deliver. I WORK!!!!... Like most Americans. I can't just sit around the house waiting for weeks for some guy that may or may not show up someday, sometime. I WORK!!! So they've now missed 4 months of deliveries. I have ONE tank left that will most likely be empty tonight when I have a neurological episode (I only have them at night)... So tomorrow I'll have NO oxygen.. Instead of using my VA prescription for home oxygen. I'll be spending the night going forward in the VA emergency room, waiting for 2am (when my neuro episodes happen). WHY would this company bid for the Oxygen delivery contract for the VA, just to refuse to deliver oxygen to veterans that need it??? DELIVER MY OXYGEN!!!!

Good morning, in regard to the veteran's complaint as listed. This was looked in to extensively and veteran was seen on Saturday, February 1, 2025. As stated, we are the company who carries the home oxygen contract to deliver for Mr. *********. Per our contract we are to visit the veteran once per month, make our standard home oxygen deliveries between 7 am & 7 pm, Monday through Friday. No visits have been refused to the veteran at this time, we have been unable to coordinate a suitable time during the previously listed times and the veterans work schedule.  Visits must be made inside the home as we are to provide required assessments and documentation of each visit to the VA, documenting safety and equipment checks. We are not permitted by contract to leave any tanks outside the home or remove any empty tanks when there is no party present to sign for delivery or pick up as a prescription is required to obtain said tanks.   Our team reached out to the VA Home Oxygen department to notify them of inability to meet during our standard business hours. We were notified by the VA that veteran would be available on Saturdays only. This was coordinated with our routing manager and technician to complete this delivery on Saturday, February 1, 2025. We encourage our veterans to make note of our next visit dates which are provided to them at each month's visit and plan for that just as they would a visit to the doctor's office or VA for an appointment. Our internal customer feedback team has documented and notated this complaint and find that at this time, the reported complaint has been resolved.  Sincerely, Senior Regional Customer Service Manager  - CJ Hoover

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is mostly satisfactory to me.

This company has not notified me when they want to come.  I've only been getting notes on the door AFTER they have come and gone.  Most any Saturday or Sunday is fine to schedule a delivery, but I need to be notified before (not after with a note on the door).

      Sincerely,

      **** *********
