      I contacted Hays Plumbing,Heating & AC, inc to retrieve an item that was located in our sewer over the weekend. I was informed that they would be over on Monday. I called the same number back on Sunday & left a message to cancel there service. I
      now recieved a statement from this company that they came over & no one answered the door & charged me $ ******. I canceled their service the day prior to them supposedly showing up.

      We have checked with our answering service, and they have no record of a second call to cancel.
      We receive a copy of the call log with each billing, and it does not appear on the record.
      We received a call from Our Service (*************)on Sunday Sept 18th at 6:28 PM Stating that Nancy had lost a wedding ring set in the sewer through the toilet and that the sewer service had run a camera into the line and located the ring and had marked it on the floor.
      I am the service manager and response to these calls go through me.
      I called Ms. **** immediately and discussed the situation with her and explained that it would take a couple om men and equipment to open the concrete floor and dig the pipe up in hopes of retrieving the ring for her.
      We agreed to begin the work by 8:30 AM on Monday Sept 19th and advised her to run no water until we had completed the work.
      We arrived at the residence at 8:15 after gathering the tools need to perform the job and when we rang the doorbell there was no answer.
      We then tried several times to call the customer at the number and left several messages both in the morning and throughout the day.
      We received no response.
      After not getting a response, the call was sent to our billing office with the customary minimum charge for the first hour and 2 plumbers.
      Shortly after on Oct 13th we received a Text Message from the complainant stating that she cancelled the call and was not obligated to pay.
      Keep in mind we have had zero communication from Nancy since Sunday Sept 18th.
      We explained that we felt it was at the minimum necessary to cover our labor cost since we could have had those 2 workers on another job.
      We dispatched the workers in good faith on time and ready to work.

      I left a message on a cell number for this company on Sept 18th stating I no longer needed their service. I do not answer my phone to anonymous calls as their number is not in my phone contacts & I assumed because I canceled there service there would be no reason for this company to contact me. The only reason I contacted this business on Oct 13th is because I received a bill from this company for a service I canceled. This company has no right to charge me a fee.

      Hase Plumbing lived up to the arrangement and went
      above and beyond to continue providing a quality service.
      We feel that we did our part in this matter.

      We will no longer pursue this and would request the matter be closed.
      Please note that we do not accept the outcome but do not feel it is productive to continue using resources to defend our position on this.
