      I purchased an animal trap online for $***** from Tru Catch on 6/26/21, order #******. I am a trapper for a local cat rescue and we frequently use these traps. This specific one is defective and the trigger plate will not set, making it useless. It has not worked from day 1 of receiving it. Tru Catch has a 5 year workmanship guarantee warranty that I am trying to get them to honor. I have emailed Tru Catch numerous times over the past year, with no response. I also sent requests straight through their website, tried to call but I get disconnected, and I have submitted their online RMA form (return request), all with yet again no response. * **** **** ******** ******* **** ********* ****** *** **** ***** *** **** **** ***** *** ******* ** ******** ******** I would appreciate help in getting this company to honor their warranty, or at least contact me back so that we can resolve this.

      The trap likely needs an adjustment. It is two years old and sometimes slight adjustments are needed. I have emailed this customer directly with a pdf showing how to make this adjustment and also how to return it if the adjustment does not fix the problem. We will need to verify the problem before replacing the trap.
