I would like to tell what ************************* and his company ********* Solution has done to our property by building a retaining wall and the poor quality of work he did. I also have many photos to show the poor work that was done. When we gave him the OK to start the wall back in February 2024, he said he would do it for $15,000. He said he needed $10,000 down for material on March 3rd. We didnt know at the time, but the split block that he used was only about $3.40 a block, not counting a contractor discount. He brought 4 pallets of brick out on March 5th. We told him that isnt enough block to do this wall. He said not to worry because he had 3-4 more pallets waiting at the warehouse he will bring when he uses these up. We told him he could take a little time so he could finish up some other jobs. After close to a month, we called him and asked when he is going to come over and do some work here. He actually became upset and said I will be over the following week and he would have it done that week, but he needed $3000 for dirt. Then he needed $2900 to pay employees and other thing. Then he said he needed $5000 for concrete work that was needed to finish the wall. And yes, we were foolish enough to pay him the full $20,000 he wanted. When he did come and started, we noticed things were not being done to standards. We asked about it and he said dont worry, it doesnt need to be done that way. Long story short; We now have a wall with little to no pebble rock base, (he used cheap crushed red rock) he used absolutely no pebble backfill at all, just dirt. The glue he used for the block is very minimal, to the point I had to show him I could pull the block off without any effort. He has yet to finish the wall, leaving us in a complete mess. He never did pull all the old railroad ties from the old wall. He has not even put concrete sealer where the wall meets the sidewalk. I could go on, but I think I have made my point.
