I purchased a 2019 Jeep Wrangler from Dell's Auto in November 2023. Approximately 4 weeks after purchase the engine lights on the dash board kept coming on and off. It would disable the entire vehicle including brakes and steering. We contacted Dell's and after a few requests we were able to take it to their shop. A coil pack and spark plug for cylinder #2 was replaced at Ultimate Auto in Sioux Falls. It seemed to fix the problem for a few days and started again. When we contacted Dell's again, they said we bought as is and wouldn't help fix it. The jeep was taken to the Jeep dealer on January 26, 2024 for the same issue of shutting off while driving. The issues was fixed and all was fine. In May, the engine started to make knocking sounds and completely stopped running again. This time is was the starter, cam positioning sensor, spark plugs, coil packs, intake gaskets and oil change. All had been replaced and the jeep ran for 1 day. At this time, the vehicle is at the jeep service center in Sioux Falls. It now needs a new engine, oil pump is no good and other unknown issues. The cost for repair is $6000 and may need an new engine for $10,000. We contacted Dell's again and they were willing to take it back if we could come up with a new loan for another car! They ran my credit into the ground with all the inquires. We just want the car fixed and fixed properly or have them take the jeep back and replace it with something that works! We have only had this jeep for 7 months and owe $25,000.
