      I contacted Blackburn for a quote to raise my driveway and two concrete pads behind our house. The salesperson came out to inspect the job and followed up on 07/22/23 with an estimate of $2,362.96. I let him know that I didn't have that much in the budget right now and would only be able to have one area done this year at $799.17. It was at this point that I was told for the first time that they had a $1,500 minimum. The salesman's solution on 07/23/23 was to send me a $1,500 estimate for the same job previously estimated at $799.17. At that point, email conversations stopped. A sales manager followed up with a phone call and I told him I wasn't too happy because it all felt like a bait and switch situation. I told him that the salesman and I had an extensive conversation while looking the job over and going through the pitch of the quality of the company and the process. Nowhere in all of that time did the salesperson tell me the company had a $1.500 minimum. The sales manager said he would try to arrange for my repairs while they had a crew in the area. I said I understood how that type of efficiencies impact the job. He said he would be back in touch within a week. I never heard back again and I'm tired of dogging them. I want them to do the work because they're the only company that said they can reach the back of my home where the concrete pad is located.
