    At our checkin time of 4 roads were not ready for our arrival.The terrain mixed with fresh snow/ice made it impossible for us to make it up the incline.We slid down the hill and got stuck in the bank.We were close enough to the house to walk to gain wifi access to call for help.When calling we did not receive answer right away.Thinking it might be service issue we texted family member to make the call for us.We got ahold of the Budi and the sheriff to send someone to pull us out. Budi Kusser scolded us for calling someone else for help.After an hour the plow driver came to pull us out.He shared this happens often and has talked to the property owner about not renting in the winter because you need snow chains on your tires to safely make it up the terrain.They advertise needing allwheel drive vehicle to access the property.We had that.When discussing this with Buddi she said that is between the owner and the plow driver and doesn’t concern us.We did not want to put our party in this unsafe situation so we got hotels and asked for a refund.When talking with Budi she was unprofessional and unwilling to work with us.She said that she had been to the property that same day and had no issues at 1.That was 3hours prior to our check in time and the snow.She also stated that other renters made it fine.When we were waiting for the plow another party couldnt make it and had to back down the hill.We also asked for an earlier check in time.She said no because her cleaning staff was having trouble getting to property.After these repulsive interactions with Budi I did more research on other Black Hills Adventure Lodging properties.When there is an issue with her properties she turns everything on the customer and takes no responsibility for issue.I expect nothing less from her when she respond to this review.DO YOUR RESAERCH BEFORE BOOKING with Black Hills Adventure Lodging.Look at other properties run by them to see how Budi operates.We got the cleaning fee back and nothing more

    Don't book with this company and avoid them like the plague, they won't work with you if the property has issues. We booked a rental and upon arrival discovered the A/C wasn't working. When we reported the problem we were told the property wasn't air conditioned and wasn't marketed as such. We checked the property listing and agreed. We then proceeded to unload our belongings. It was when we started to put our cold items in the refrigerator we discovered it had a problem along with ceiling fans had missing blades and the property was over grown with knee high grass and weeds, etc. When we reported the refrigerator issue, the agent apologized and the only remedy she offered was a refund if we left the property that afternoon.

    When we asked for a E-Mail confirming the refund we were told she was too busy but would pass the information along to the manager. We did get a confirmation from the manager stating we would get a refund of our deposit and cleaning fee only, since we cancelled after the date allowed for cancellation. We did not cancel, we only reported issues.

    After many E-Mail exchanges with the owner regarding the refund, we were told we were lying and no refund would be made.

    We disputed the charge with our credit card company, but being unfamiliar with the process we lost.

    So again avoid these people like the plague ********************************
