    I paid Tom from Prairieland Awning Canvas & Upholstery $1,800.00 up front for materials on 9/16/21 for an awning that he was to install on the front of my clinic. The current Date is 6/27/2022 and I have called Tom and spoke with him 10-12 times over the last 9-10 months. Every discussion involves the owner Tom complaining about how he can't seem to find anyone to hire in order to help him install the awning. When I lined up a construction crew to help him install the awning he no showed. He has refused to reimburse me the $1,800.00 because he states he has already bought the materials, but then when I told him he can just give me the materials and I'll hire someone myself to install the awning he refused to give me the materials he claims that he has already bought.

    I would spend more money to press the issue legally than what I paid Tom in a down payment for the materials. He can't be allowed to continue to take peoples money with out any repercussion. It would be great to get resolution in this matter as it is going on a year and I still don't have an awning on the front of my clinic.
