      THIS COMPANY IS A SHAM. THEY CANCELLED THE POLICY FOR MY 101 YEAR OLD MOTHER'S DEATH. I HAVE MADE 73 TELEPHONE CALLS IN THE LAST TWO MONTHS. BEING TOLD TODAYTHIS MONEY I PAID IN FULL 3 YEARS AGO IS IN THE STATE UNCLAIMED PROPERTY. IT IS NOT! ALL CALLS MADE GET RE-ROUTED TO ANOTHER PERSON WHO DOESN'T KNOW ANYTHING. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. SCAMMERS

      I fell behind in my life ins premium and received a letter stating that I could pay a certain amount to get it reinstated. I've been trying to pay it since last week and finally got someone on the phone to take my payment today. Then they tell me I had to pay another months premium on top of the amount I had to pay to reinstate the policy I didn't have enough money and they finally agreed to accept the original amount due. Then the person processing my payment didn't ask for the code on the back of the card he asked for my zip code which they had previously asked for the code and not the zip code. He then tells me they declined the payment when the money was just put in the account and confirmed the balance by calling to make sure it was there before I tried to make the payment. I believe they are deliberately not accepting my payment in the hopes of adding the additional amount for me to be able to reinstate my policy. The man taking the payment was extremely rude. So I called back hoping to speak to a manager and have them just issue me another bill and I would mail it in since for some reason they wouldn't take the card. They always ask for birth date and address to verify identity of account holder, however this time she asked for birthdate and last four digits of my social, I'm staring to really feel like the workers were trying to get all my information, so I hung up. I've been paying on this policy more than two years, I'm on disability and can't afford the money I've lost to this company. After the tone that was used by the man taking payments, I was upset then they want my social security number, I feel like I've been totally ripped off and don't know what I can do about it now. I tried to look up the company to file a complaint and they couldn't find them in the search. It's Trustage, American memorial Life insurance

      I am very disgusted with this company. I took out an insurance policy for pre-payment on funeral expenses. Never receive an update on policy and payments made. Back on September 1st, 2024 I made my monthly payment of $95.14. On September 5th, 2024 I paid FOUR MONTHS ahead in the amount of $380.52 as I knew that my expenses were going to be tight for the four months and did not want to have to worry about the payments for those 4 months. Today, November 20th I receive a premium notice stating that I have a payment due on December 1st, 2024. I called them and was told that the money had been applied to the balance not as a monthly payment. This was not the way the payment was to be applied. Their customer service leaves a lot to be desired and I would not recommend them for that reason

      Poor customer service. The company is not willing to assist the customer promptly, and the phone representatives are not helpful and unwilling to help.

      When the account is past due, the bill-payment website is shut down, and the website cannot find your policy.
      Therefore, you must pay $10.00 to get a payment process promptly ( a five-day process).

      Veterans and customers beware.

      This company seems to be a conglomeration of several related entities (I.e.; **********************************, and others). They sent several forms and contracts purposely backdated by 10 days. They make it extremely difficult to cancel policies. They advertise selling final arrangements but actually sell overpriced whole life insurance. Please research them thoroughly. We strongly advise not to do business with this firm.

      I again STRONGLY recommend that anyone approached by any of the mentioned firms reconsider doing any business with them. They are disreputable! Contrary to their response stating they processed our refunds on 10/14, as of today, 10/20, our refunds have not been received. We are in contact with our attorney, we have informed the various firms that if our refunds are not received by 10/24, legal action will be taken in federal court claiming fraud and with the **********************************. These are dishonest, disreputable companies!

      American Memorial Life Insurance Company takes consumer feedback very seriously. Once we received Mr. ******* required forms for cancelling his policies, a refund was processed within 3 business days to the payment method which he used to pay his premium. We have fully reviewed this matter and resolved his concerns by cancelling his policies as requested.

      While we have finally received our refunds, they were absolutely not processed promptly. It took numerous calls and finally the BBB comments before any action was taken. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with any company associated with this group. They; don't provide final arrangements. Only overpriced insurance, Wiley are a conglomeration of interrelated firms which appear to intentionally backdate their papers, they don't provide street addresses making it difficult to send certified papers, documenting dates and receipts. These are flat out not honest companies.
