      They stole my vehicle. They just towed it away with 0 warning whatsoever this is a horrible abuse of power I wish I could afford to sue them

      There are only a few places we have permission to tow vehicles from. With no information available to me about vehicle location, make, model, color, LP# I can only make an educated guess as to what happened.
      I contacted the leasing office of the neighborhood we patrol as they have very specific rules regarding parking, and it's in our scope of work to enforce those rules. Some violations require officers to give a 24 hour notice before towing. Other violations require officers to tow vehicles immediately.
      The leasing office states that no one with your name is listed on any lease in the neighborhood. It's logical to conclude you were in the area visiting someone, and they failed to warn you about parking rules, or you are living with someone illegally - and you either weren't told about the parking rules or you disregarded them.
      Officers are not perfect, there's been an instance where a vehicle was improperly towed. The owner contacted the leasing office, provided proof, and our company paid for the tow and release.
