      They’re very rude they will not identify themselves on the phone, they say Med-Plan and then want your personal information.. They call and hang up on me. The bill was paid two weeks before they sent me a letter threatening to turn me into a collection agency because of multiple attempts to contact me, they talked to me on the phone once and one letter. They are apparently a collection agency for medical bills. I had never heard of Med-Plan and thought it was a scam I mailed a check and it was a couple of days late getting to the hospital I mailed it about two weeks early I can’t help how long it took to get there in the mail

      Med-Plan Services, Ltd. is an
      accounts receivable billing vendor for the client.  Med-Plan Services,
      Ltd. is identified by name on the client’s statements sent to the
      consumer.  For HIPAA compliance and consumer privacy protection, our
      Patient Services Representatives cannot disclose any information to a consumer
      on the phone until that consumer confirms their identity to the Patient
      Services Representative.  We called the consumer on 01/22/25 and the
      consumer declined to confirm their identity.   The consumer’s account
      reached 120 days postdate of services received and there was no payment for 45
      days which led to a final
      notice generated on 02/07/25, On 02/12/2025, we received notification
      from the client that the consumer paid the account in full. The account is
      currently reporting a balance of $0.00.  Thank you.

      Med-Plan Services, Ltd. reviewed this consumer’s information in our system. This consumer does have a pending account balance with the medical provider. Med-Plan will follow up this response with a letter to the consumer with an explanation and documents.

      Calls multiple times a day on my cell and at work. I should not have a bill. I was not notified I would owe anything when I had my appointment. I was under the impression it was taken care of. Will not leave me alone.

      Med-Plan Services, Ltd. (Med-Plan) offers the following in response to the consumer's review: The accounts were unresolved by the consumer with Med-Plan Services, Ltd, who addresses payments for the creditor/client. Our records show the consumer's spouse set up a payment plan with Med Plan in 2021, which the consumer failed to honor. The accounts were subsequently placed with the creditor/client's collection agency representative, ********************** The consumer has been aware of this matter for several months and the consumer's spouse did speak with our representative in early 2022 and requested a call back from our agency to discuss payment arrangements. **************** has subsequently been unable to reach this consumer and will attempt again to mail information to the consumer to assist in clarifying the balances in question.

      There was no payment plan in place. I have not requested a call back because of being contacted at my place of work and cell multiple times a day.
