      Went in over the weekend to get a single car wash and through no permission given from myself, the lady enrolled me into a monthly membership. Once confronted about it after asking the appropriate questions to see if in fact this was true she said there as nothing else she could do from her computer to reverse her wrong doing. Silver star and the lady personally took it upon themselves to enroll, falsify my permission and deliberately lie and mislead me into thinking I was only paying for one wash until I asked questions but then it was too late. Trying to get silver star to reverse charges and respond back was a nightmare onto itself. 57th Street and Sycamore Ave Sioux Falls SD. How they continue to operate is such a disgrace. Highly recommend doing business with more ethical businesses that have your best interests at heart.

      My vehicle was damaged by the admittance arm. I did not proceed to the wash. I left the vehicle in the lane and called to the attendant. The attendant was polite and asked me to pull around and park on the side. He was quick to fill out the incident report and take pictures. I was told that I would be contacted within two days. On day three I reached out and remained on hold for over 30 minutes before my call was taken. I was told that two days to be contacted is not correct. It is five to seven days.
      I find customer service to be lacking when it takes five to seven days for someone to contact me and make arrangements for handling my file. I will not continue as a customer.

      I went to the Silverstar Carwash located in Sioux Fall, SD. I requested to unpause/activate my account, the worker could not find my account, eventually I left the business without a carwash. I later emailed the business just to tell my experience. I wrote that I went to another business for a carwash and I would not be activating my account now, maybe later.
      I received an email from Jennifer at Silverstar stating my account has been activated. I emailed back and said I didn't authorize that. After several emails, Silverstar stopped responding. I've called the telephone number that Jennifer gave me to call, left several call back requests with no return calls. Then I found that they billed my credit card $31.68 and my bank account $31.68. Double billed me and now they are not responding. I lost out $63. I've spread the word as much as I can. Mammoth Holdings LLC owns carwashes around the country and there are several similar complaints. Make sure to check your bank accounts and credit accounts. If you ask to close your account make sure to check to make sure they don't continue billing you, that seems to be a repeating complaint.

      Had a subscription here. canceled my subscription in march and still was charged april 2nd 2024. went in person to ask why I was charged and was given a support number And the lady working at the window said to me “I’m gonna send you through the wash still” and I had asked her if that would affect my availability to get a refund and she said “no it shouldn’t just call that number” I called and spoke to one of the employees who kept speaking over me, told me I wasn’t eligible for a refund because I had gone through the wash after the charge date, I explained to her why I had gone through the wash after the charge date was because I was trying to resolve the issue in person and their employee sent me through and said it wouldn’t affect my availability to be refunded. to then which I had told her I would be contacting my bank and filing a dispute she then cut me off and asked “are you threatening legal action?” And I asked her if she was understanding that one of their employees had given me incorrect information and cut me off AGAIN asking if I was threatening legal action, I told her to transfer me to one of her superiors which was Noah one of the supervisors, I had explained that entire situation to him and he said “It’s cooperate policy if you’ve used the wash after the charge date I can’t give you a refund it’s policy” and so I had asked him if this was his way of saying he isn’t going to stand by his employees mistakes and I was abruptly hung up on.

      Exact conversation with a dishonest company

      We do apologize about the confusion regarding the promotional that you are on as the one that you had been informed of was only supposed to be for our coming locations in Minnesota, what we can offer is 1 month free to help make up for this if that is okay.

      I double checked it was specifically 2 months at $5 a month there was even a sign on the gate. I don't want a free month because that isn't a free month. Because I already paid for it. I want my money refunded that was taken out of my account. I also want the subscription canceled. This seems to me an easy way to charge people without them noticing. I believe this would be called false advertising. I'm not taking this out on you but this way of doing business is not ok.
      I do apologize Mr. N***** but we are not able to provide a refund as you have used the membership this month, when I had stated we would be providing a free month, we would be providing the month of March for free at no additional cost..
      Well I wasn't on a different promotion. Because I was also lied to because I was informed that the person that was giving out the faulty promotion was no longer working there. That was untrue because I was talking to the person that signed me up. So what I believe is going on is you guys do this on purpose and hope people don't notice. When they do you pull this free month thing then instead of $10 for two months you offer an extra month for free. So then you make $35 for three months. Smart play wrong guy. I'll let my credit card company handle this and I will be reporting this to BBB also. I'll be sure to let the other people that this happened to know to do the same.

      I obviously know you don't care as you're a big company and this scam makes for a large sum of money.

      I started with an upgrade to a day platinum plus package. At the end of the month, I looked at canceling as the washes are good, but not great. My vehicle never gets fully cleaned but I do feel like their washes could do better (especially since I’m getting the best package -or second best package from there automatic downgrade). The cancellation offered half off for the next month but when the next month came, I was charged full price for a platinum package (a downgrade from my initial purchase). I was assured that I had requested the change to soon to the billing cycle and the next month would have the half off amount applied. I was once again charged full price for the Platinum package. Silverstar has not upheld their “deals” as promised.
