I am impressed with the concise information and recommendations given by Marketbeat. I appreciate the articles/summary by Hughes. I think he’s on the mark.
I like the daily format used on my stock holdings. I very much appreciate that ads are kept to a minimum.

MarketBeat has useful and timely information. Quantity and quality is very acceptable.
Navigation is difficult and time consuming. The reports automatically go to Junk and must de retrieved to the inbox; oftentimes they jump back into junk, so that the process has to be repeated. More infuriating and serious, when navigating a page a pop up appears, with a list of services and checkmarks. It covers about 40% of the page. I do not know how to eliminate the popup.

We apologize for the difficulties you've experienced with navigation and the issue with our emails being directed to your junk folder. Regarding the popup that you mentioned, we understand how disruptive that can be. We're constantly working to improve user experience, and your feedback is always helpful. MarketBeat has really useful information about the stock market. I appreciate that their website isn't flooded with ads like other stock market news websites. Their articles are insightful and helpful, especially the ones from Chris M******.

Total scam. I just now tried to unsubscribe from all of the emails that I have received in the one week (over 50) and I immediately received a scam email saying that President Biden is dropping out of the election. Really??? Try to get rid of a bunch of spam and I get political propaganda and election lies??? Guess Trump still has business allies at market beat.

Started sending spam emails, unsolicited. They know what they do and will simply defend their dirty practices.

I don't know how these folks got my email address, but I have received a minimum of 5 emails per day from them for the last week. I tried to unsubscribe, but that just seems to have tipped them off that it's a valid email address and now they're sending me more messages.
The messages are obviously garbage, and many of them have a weird, conspiratorial far-right bent.
Everything about the emails feels scammy, but mostly I just want them to stop flooding my inbox. In other comments I've seen the company say to reach out to customer service to stop the emails, but I doubt if that would work, and the point is I shouldn't have to do that! That's what the unsubscribe section is for.
Don't send unsolicited emails to a list you clearly bought from a data breach, don't send tons of emails every day, and don't have a fake unsubscribe button that does the opposite.

    Hello,
Unfortunately, I do not see your email address [email protected] in our system, so I am not able to help. If you think you are registered under another email address, please send us an email to [email protected] so we can look into this issue further.

MarketBeat.com is simply SCAM. Their service is inadequate, failing to provide necessary and timely information. For example, on January 8, 2024, there was significant news regarding a falling door issue with Boeing, and many traders made substantial profits by shorting options. Despite this, MarketBeat.com had no information on unusual PUT options activity for Boeing.
The same issue occurred with Spirit Airlines on January 16, 2024. When its stock plunged by up to 60%, MarketBeat.com offered no insights on shorting options for the airline.
The on-time delivery of MarketBeat.com's news reporting is also concerning. Other accurate NEWS sources reported an important update about the JetBlue-Spirit merger failure at 9:50 AM on January 16, 2024, but MarketBeat.com didn't post this information until 1:15 PM. This delay could lead to significant financial losses for those shorting Spirit based on outdated information.
I wish I could provide screenshots as evidence, but unfortunately, Trustpilot doesn't allow attachments or URLs.
MarketBeat.com's apparent lack of robust infrastructure and delayed reporting are significant drawbacks. It seems that the owners are either unwilling to invest in delivering news promptly or lack a basic understanding of providing timely financial information. Technical concepts like C++, web sockets, events, AWS or Azure, and FPGA (Field-programmable gate array) seem foreign to them, judging by how they handle the content.
Relying on MarketBeat.com could result in one significant loss – your cash.
Another interesting observation regarding Matt Paulson, the founder and CEO of MarketBeat. His background raises concerns about the site's accuracy and reliability. He claims to have degrees in information systems and computer science, but he lacks experience with prominent companies in the industry. His tenure as a 'web developer' at lesser-known entities like Factor 36 Inc. and Logic Lizard fails to instill confidence.

Hi Geo, We appreciate your feedback, and we take customer concerns seriously. At MarketBeat, we strive to provide valuable financial information to our users. We acknowledge that there may have been instances where our service did not meet your expectations and we will continue to work to improve our offerings.
As for our founder and CEO, Matt P******, his background and expertise have been instrumental in shaping MarketBeat and we don't believe personal attacks about our employees are warranted here.
Please let us know if you need help unsubscribing, thank you.

I'd like to support Michael T.'s comments. My husband has been bombarded with emails from MarketBeat in their various manifestations, and to be truthful, other 'financial experts' as well. He has obviously been targeted by, perhaps, not all above board entities, but Marketbeat is probably the No. 1 financial email newsletter. It's overwhelming in the email listings. I hope I have been successful in unsubscribing.
