      I want a refund on the couch we purchased. It's junk had seven day warranty called several times got put on hold and could not contact them.

      Thank you for contacting me regarding the complaint filed by ****** ****. *** **** purchased a Lazy Boy console love seat from our Aberdeen Ashley Home Store on January 30th, 2024. On May 15th we dispatched one of our upholstery technicians to adjust the seat foam for *** ****. *** **** contacted our help center again on August 2nd, 2024 to advise us that he was again unhappy with the seating on the love seat and was requesting a return for refund. Our help center advised that we are unable to refund but rather service the product. *** **** refused the option and hung up.

       

      The seat cores used in all upholstered seating will break in with normal usage. The firmness of a seat core is subjective to each user, but I assure you that Lazy Boy uses excellent materials in each product they produce. I am unable to provide a refund beyond our 7-day return policy. I am, however, able to order two replacement seat cores from Lazy Boy for *** **** if he accepts this resolution. The new seat cores will also break in and soften from usage in time. This should not be confused as defect but rather normal break in that all upholstery will do.

      I purchased a couch from unclaimed freight on 9/16/21. I purchased the extended warranty for $280. On 12/9/2023 I filled a repair claim for the recliner motor on the couch that stopped working. I contacted Unclaimed freight and they assured me the couch was coved by the warranty. But after filling a claim with a company called Guardian which was supposed to send a repair technician nothing has happened. I have had phone conversation with both companies that state that I am covered and have received emails from Guardian that a technician would contact me. After 5 weeks and 2 follow up conversations not technician has contacted me. I am asking for Unclaimed Freight to refund the $280 for the warrenty since I purchased the couch from them and wrote the check to them.
