    This company is the worst to deal with!!! I don't even use the company but trash get spilled all over my driveway. I've called all summer, every week and asked if the driver can stop in front of my neighbors house to pick up their trash; but he continues to stop in from of my house to pick up my neighbors trash; dragging all 3 trash cans to my driveway as he spills it everywhere, along with all the liquid spilling out the back of the truck. We have had to go sweep grass clippings, broken bottles, etc along with hosing down our driveway, so our cars do not drag that stinky garbage liquid into our garage. The ladies that take my calls repeat the same thing over and over (and with some attitude too), that my concerns were sent to a supervisor. I asked if a supervisor can call me, they took my name and number, I asked when I would expect a call back they said they didn't know... I asked if I called them back when would a supervisor be available, they replied they don't know. ... This is a terrible business with rude customer service!

    After 2 weeks of my trash not being collected on my designated Monday service, I called and cancelled my service on 1/15/24. I was advised that from my cancellation my trash cans would be collected on 1/16/24. We have called 3 times to have Novak pick up their trash cans, I no longer have their service, but, they still have not collected their trash cans and we have received a different excuse with each phone call. My new collections service delivered our trash cans on 1/16/24, the same day Novak was supposed to collect theirs. I do not have the room inside my garage for all of these cans, so Novaks remain outside in the way. Today is 1-23-24, it has been over a week since I cancelled my service and Novak has still not collected their trash cans. Another call today has resulted in yet another excuse and again telling us they will pick up the cans tomorrow. Terrible customer service!

    Joan, we are sincerely sorry for your service issues and not being able to get your carts removed in a timely manner. This is not our standard protocol. We have already sent out a driver to collect your carts and have ended your service in our system. Thank you for letting us know of these issues.

    They skipped all pickup on my recycling week and when I called and asked to confirm the service would be completed the following week they indicated yes. However the following week my recyclables were thrown into the trash truck with the rest of my trash destined for the landfill. Specifically asked to confirm the recycling services would be performed, yet they could not be bothered to properly handle our recycling when we went out of our way to express to them how important it was to us. Would expect better service when paying higher rates compared to other companies in the area and with so much focus on the environment globally.

    When I have called Novak sanitary about the trash collection not occurring or trash cans not being returned, the office has stated that "they are a curbside service", have commented "that the city ordinances were repealed" or that "the laws regarding trash collection are changing soon" meaning they are not "legally obligated" to provide this service. Yet has still billed me for this service, knowing that they have either not collected the trash, or not returned the containers to the designated spot on the property, leaving them on city streets or sidewalks and public roadways. Due to this, I wrote an email to Novak requesting that I be refunded for every service period in which the service has not occurred. Service being trash collection and return of the cans to the pickup location. Due to the fact that the office had stated I was billed for non- service periods, regardless of pickup or services, I asked that Novak Provide evidence of service for billing periods, and a refund for any period in which they could not prove that the services paid for were provided. While speaking with an individual named Pat, approximately 9:22 Am on March 27th, Pat stated that my account shows that I pay for Valet service, and that it is a service that Novak sanitary provides. Pat also suggested that I seek a "smaller more capable service", implying that the company has never had the capability to deliver this service to begin with. Novak has not taken any action to refund me, or reach a resolution on this issue. Novak Is aware they have billed me for service and have not provided it, and have received proof that these services have not been provided.
