We are an HOA community of townhouses. *********************** It seems when we have snow the last 2 specially it takes a long time to get this plowed out. Then the corners from the streets that connect with ****** and the plowed come through they get all the snow piled up. The driveways get plowed in and the company that does the clearing never come back to clear the driveways out or the corners. This also causes the mailboxes to be blocked in so residents cannot get to them or even the postal service people. People contact Signature Homes and they say we have to clear them. This is why all of us bought places due to the HOA. The company that does the cleaning just says to contact Signature Homes. What a run around. People fill out the forms but says can take up to 14 days for response. We will be getting a new board for HOA but has not happened yet. Signature Homes is just pushing it on others and home owners.

Our community has received historic snowfalls in the last week and the contractors willing to do snow removal are working overtime to remove the snow to the best of their ability. The Association snow removal policy is online and we will continue to do our best to respond to everyone in a timely manner.

I live at ******************* development owned by Signature homes. We have had issues with snow removal. I have filed the appropriate HOA forms and regarding the issues and have been told via email "Our office is no longer addressing complaints with the service contractors for the development. Your elected board of directors will be announced shortly, and you may direct all concerns to them as they will be the persons responsible for decision making in *******************." The new board of directors does not take effect until February 2023. Signature homes is refusing the move the snow that is blocking the sidewalk the leads to the mailboxes and is blaming it the the city of ***********. They are refusing to contact the snow removal company "The snow removal company has informed me they will not be returning for this as their efforts today are to be focused on rock salting, liquid deicer applications, and sanding. The sidewalk is clear, and they will not be cleaning the side of the public street. You are welcome to call the city and give them feedback on this."Today an ice and rain storm went through the area, I arrived home and 5:30 PM and had to "skate" my way to the mail box after climb over the mound of snow. All I ***************************** are asking is for decent service from Signature Companies. Instead of getting a "song and dance " that it is someone else's fault. My driveway was not shoveled after I arrived home on Friday December 9th ************************************************************************************************************************************.I have tried to go through the proper channels and have gotten know where. I'm not sure why I pay HOA fees when they do such a poor job and do not respond properly to complaints.

    Business Response

    Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/12/14) */
******************* Association governs the property and the Association is owed by all of it's residents collectively. Signature Homes has no ownership in the property. The snow removal policy is clear and has been provided to all residents and is available online. The snow removal vendor is currently fulfilling the policy obligations and will continue to do so through this season. Any additional work is the responsibility of the individual homeowner.
This our one and only response for said complaint.

    Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/12/16) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I do not accept this response but from what I am reading Signature Home is not going to take any responsibility with the situation. They are saying that it is up to the homeowners. All I have asked for from the beginning of the whole situation is the name of the contracted snow removal company, which Signature Homes tells us " The snow removal policy is clear and has been provided to all residents and is available online" However it is not clear and is very hard to find online. If fact I have been unable to find it online, except in the email that was sent to me. Also, the snow removal company has changed so I am not sure if the information would even be correct if I could find it online. Why is it so hard for them to answer the simple question as to who the contracted snow removal company is so that we the homeowners can contact them when there is an issue, instead of having it go through filling out HOA form, which Signature Homes then refuses to acknowledge?

    Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2022/12/16) */
************** is the snow removal contractor and any extra services required by the resident is the sole responsibility of the resident.

    Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2022/12/19) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I accept this response, but I do not understand why I had to go to such lengths to get such a simple answer for Signature Homes.
