Weller Brother Landscaping provided lawn service to my property without my consent. They state they merged with my former lawn care provider and would be conducting business with clients electronically only. Apparently, when they switched company names, I was no longer able to review rate increases for the year or have the option to get a discount for prepaying the season. I do not see how a company can change it's name, expect customers to auto-renew services, raise rates and discontinue prepay discounts without the customers approval. Their rate for two applications is what I am paying another company for the entire season. I am willing to pay for one of the two applications Weller provided to resolve this matter.

Weller Brothers sent the client a copy of his contract before services began via an electronic tracking system.  The contract was sent on January 19, 2024 along with 5 subsequent reminder emails.  Additionally, Weller Brothers sent a courtesy email February 26, 2024 stating the contract would auto renew on March 1st.  Weller Brothers provided services in April and May.  Our electronic tracking system shows that Mr. ******* viewed the proposal on April 18, 2024, but did not contact us until July 2, 2024.  On that date, he notified us that he did not realize the rate changed and wanted a deal.  Mr. ******* is welcome to contact our accounting department to discuss payment options.

This company took over the previous lawn care professional I used. When they presented their care plan, I was in disagreement to the # of times they insisted applying chemicals to my yard. The previous company allowed me to be in charge of the # I wanted.

I clarified through email that they were saying it was their way or not at all after I, the customer, asked for something else. Their answer was “yes, that’s correct”. In the business world I come from, this disagreement would NOT constitute that we had a contract. But, they now insist we do, say they require a 30 day written notice. In addition, they say they had already applied the first app. I never saw anyone, no one left a bill in my door as proof they had been there or even placed a flag in my yard to tell me the grass had chemicals applied. Now they are billing me.

I told them I wasn’t using them, had hired another company and wasn’t paying for something I know nothing about happening. If they insist I pay, it is $75 and I got nothing for that and didn’t want it in the first place.
