    My wife used their services and got an oil change on May 26th 2022. After the mileage had lapsed to get another oil change I took it to a different business to get another oil change. The mechanic i took it to this time discovered that they had either tightened the oil filter cap on too tight or had not taken it off to change the filter. I called Empire Oil to discuss this problem and the person who claimed to be the owner (Dominick) told me to bring in the "proof" that they did this. So i got the oil filter and broken cap out of the trash to take to them. When I brought it in he became angry with me, got one of his mechanics to come threaten to beat me up. When I went to leave the business he stepped in front of the door to block me from leaving, trying to get me to fight him. *****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

    Your compaintant took the vehichle to the business he worked at to do the oil change. I doubt they used the right tool. We do dozens of these a week without problem. This is a do it yourself job that went bad. He claimed to us that because it was synthetic oil, the filter should not be dirty, casting doubt on all his knowldege of the subject. He was never threatened.

    The mechanic is the one that came into the office and claimed that they don't tighten oil filters to spec and that is the reason we could not get the oil filter off. I have a witness that came in with me that day, he will happily testify to the fact that their mechanic did threaten me and the person who claimed to be the owner stepped in front of the door to block my way when I tried to leave, that is assault by intimidation. They were *********** and **************, ******************************************************************************************** If needed I will make this a legal matter and press charges.

    He did the second oil change himself. Any oil with more than 5000 miles on it will be dark,hence the oil filter will be dark. He broke the oil filter cap, not us. There is a special tool for removing this cap. For him to presist with his line of complaint is ridicules. We pride ourselves on an up front family run business. His complaints on line, and vailed threats are unfounded. He can stop in and talk to Tony ******** anytime.
