As a custodian and fiduciary IRA Financial Trust has an obligation to manage its clients money. I moved a large amount of money to my SIDRA and when it did not appear in my Self Directed IRA Account at IRA Financial after a week I tried calling and got no response-no one other than the sales team picks up the phone. I used the chat bot feature and was told IRA Financial Trusts Transfer Authorization Form HAS THE WRONG ADRESSS and my check "should be" at the old address.
I then reviewed all the forms and they ALL have the old Address's.
Markets move quickly. There is NO excuse for not updating your forms or leaving client checks . I am contacting the Consumer Finance Protection Board.
In addition, charging $250 to file the new FINCEN BOI is predatory since the form can be filed directly at NO cost

1 starI have had an overwhelmingly negative experience working with this company. Several years back, they had mishandled personal information that led to the loss of customer funds. As a result of this, I pulled all of my funds from IRA Financial Trust and moved it elsewhere.
While I have no money with this firm, I have still been charged a service fee that has now been sent to collections. I requested a closure of my account two years ago and have not had any money there. So why am I being charged a fee? What service was provided that warrants the annual fee? I would not recommend working with this firm given how they have handled this situation.Review fromCharles T

Have had a self-directed Roth IRA with IRA Financial for almost two years. Haven't had any noticeable issues so far. Customer service using email has been prompt with accurate and usable information when needed. My experience has been fine and I would recommend them to anyone after YOU do your own research and comparisons to make sure this is the service you are looking for.IRA Financial Trust Company
