Purchased vehicle from next 2 new around December 2023. Purchased extended warranty with the vehicle as recommended by ****** from the dealership. He explained it covered everything other than regular maintenance items. Have since had 2 not covered repairs that were not regular maintenance. Dealership was unethical in what the said during the sale.

*** ****** purchased a 2010 Ram 1500 on 11/16/2023 from Next2New Auto Sales & Service. He also purchased an extended warranty witch paid one of the three claims He had. If anything, *** ****** should be upset with the warranty company for not paying the claims and not Next2New Auto. Certain stipulations in the warranty wordage stated that it would or would not be paid (if this) and that is why is was not covered. *** ****** bought a 15-year-old vehicle and there is always a chance of things going wrong with any vehicle no matter how old. *** ****** is not owed any money from Next2New Auto as He bought the vehicle AS-IS.

I bought a 2010 Dodge Caravan in April 2024 from Next 2 New. The salesman was named ******. ****** told me on test drive they do oil changes and inspect all vehicles. The finance officer above him said same thing. I enjoyed working with them. The day they delivered the vehicle, I went to move it. The check engine light came on. I read the code with my reader and found it was an easy fix. Then a month later the change oil light came on. First indication they had not told me the truth. I had only put on a few hundred miles. On a fresh oil change the light should not be coming on.
Then a month later, I was backing out when I heard sound of sheet metal in steering linkage. Ok, I get sold 'as-is', I have been buying cars for over 40 years. But, when I looked under the vehicle for source of sound, I found they had sold me a rolling death trap. The front cross member had two bolts broken off in frame and the other two bolts backed out. So the only thing holding the front cross member in place is the weight of the vehicle itself. I called ****** immediately and left a message. He did not call me back, his boss did. His boss asked me for photos which I promptly sent. I have called/texted several times since.
So much for safety inspections and customer satisfaction.
Understand, I had bought this vehicle to be able to transport my 82 yo mother around. This thing came to light just before her birthday dinner out.
I now have a $4000 piece of lawn art. And no customer satisfaction.

On 4/4/2024 *** ******* purchased a 2010 Dodge Caravan with 193,459 miles and as the customer stated in his statement it was sold as-is. The oil change was done by our shop, and all of our vehicles go through an inspection. If the oil light came on it was because they must not have reset the oil light. The last thing I heard on this matter was that the customer was going to have the vehicle brought to our shop so we could take a look at it. I was under the understanding that the customer had brought the vehicle to our shop because I hadn't heard anything for awhile from the customer. As a business we want repeat customers and never want a vehicle to break down or a customer to come back angry. If the customer can get the vehicle to Sioux Falls to our shop we can take a look at it for him. We will then get with the owner to see what kind of resolution we can come up with. Please let me know if this will work for you or not. Thank You

I am rejecting this response because: The issue is not resolved. I was never instructed to bring the minivan in. The last I heard from the company was a request for pictures. Then they stopped responding. If they had come and picked up the vehicle as requested, they would have heard more from me. No one has arranged to come pick it up. And, no one suggested I bring the vehicle in.

My mechanic has looked it over and determined all that the two remaining bolts hold the back of the cradle in place will have to be removed somehow. Then, the four holes will have to be drilled out and retapped. Then, the two broken struts will need to be replaced. My mechanic says the way they are broken they could come free and damage a tire causing a severe accident.  Again, I state either they did not do an inspection or the mechanic who signed off on it did not know how to do his job properly. The broken and missing bolts would have been spotted by anyone working under the vehicle.

My mechanic states he can repair it but it will be a minimum of $1100.

If Next 2 New wants customer satisfaction, they will arrange to pick up the vehicle and return it at their cost. I do not doubt they have a tow truck or trailer they can haul this on. I cannot drive this unsafe vehicle any distance. I cannot afford the $150 to $200 tow each way.

After they work on it, they can return a satisfactorily running and safe vehicle as I was supposed to be purchasing.

All I want is the safe and decently running vehicle they supposedly had sold me.

If they don't want to tow the vehicle, I can have a local mechanic work on it and they can pay for it.

The sad part to me is that I enjoyed working with the salesman, ****** and his bosses. I don't blame the salesman, it is the mechanic who missed these issues that has cause my dissatisfaction.

    Sincerely,

    **** *******

The vehicle was sold as-is, as stated by the customer. It was driven by the customer with the salesman at time of sales and no issues were noticed at that time. Any issues caused by customer after driving are the vehicle would be the customers responsibility. If you can get the vehicle to next2new we can see what we can do to help with the repairs. Thank You

Purchased a 2016 ****** from them at the end of June. Beginning of January the transmission completely gave out. After having several techs look at it, the cause of it was due to the transmission fluid level being almost empty. Next2New claims to have serviced the car when they received it, including checking/filling the transmission fluid & replacing the filter. The car hasn't leaked any fluid in my garage nor where I park at work since I've owned it. Upon checking other filters & fluids, It's blatantly obvious no service was actually done when they received the car.

I should have acted on the red flags when I seen them while purchasing the car. When looking at it, the front valance was destroyed and barely hanging on. The salesman told me they had the part & was just waiting for it to be put on. When I talked to the service department after purchasing it they told me they weren't replacing it.

    Next2New does shady sales & service, *** *** *** ***** ****** **** *** ******** **.

Customer purchased a 2016 ***** ****** on 6/30/22 and on or about 1/24/23 the customer stated that the transmission went out in mentioned vehicle. As a dealership that has been open for over 20 years, we never want to hear that any of our customers have issues with their vehicles. We of course want them to come back for regular vehicle services and eventually trade said vehicle back in for another. The customer purchased this vehicle as is with no warranty. Every vehicle we see has the option to purchase an extended warranty which was not purchased on this particular vehicle. We are sorry to say, but there will not be any refund given back to the customer for the repairs on the 2016 ***** ******. Thank You

I was inquiring about purchasing a car, but I wasn't in the need of a car because I already has one. They let me test drive a truck over night. I had gave them ***** just incase I wanted to do the purchase. I tested the truck over night and I told them the next day I didn't want to do the purchase because of he loan terms such as interest rate, and I was still in college and wanted to wait until I graduated and found different employment. A bank wouldn't do the load because of my income, so he stated that they would do it in house. I still declined until I was told I could go to a credit union and refinance through them. I have tried with multiple different unions and I'm unable to even with a cosigner. If I was never told that I would have never gotten a in-house loan through them which is really expensive and the interest rate is too high.

Next2New Auto reached out to our customer on 11/15/22 and asked him to come in so we could get him financed. On 11/22/22 Next2New's customer came into the dealership and we were able to get him financed though a bank which will save him some money on his payments and interest. As of 12/1/22 Next2New is waiting for him to come back to the dealership to finallize the deal.
