    I paid to have my car wrapped due to the paint chipping. It’s currently white and was to be wrapped in midnight purple. It was almost $2500 to have done. thought this person was a friend so I trusted them and paid the amount in full even though I only needed to put half down. It was supposed to be wrapped the week after Thanksgiving of 2023. The owner never confirmed to have the car dropped off to have it wrapped. It was months later before he FINALLY gave me a date and started to work on it. January I dropped it off, but he said the paint was so bad he needed to use bondo on some spots first. And then it needed three days to cure. So I got my car back while that set. Then, he never got back to me with a date to proceed with the wrapping. Finally in the middle of February I gave him a date to have it completed by or I wanted a refund. He said it was impossible to have it done by my deadline and would refund the money. That was three weeks ago. I haven’t seen a refund from him which he claimed would need to come from his accountant. He no longer responds to my texts asking when I can expect to see the refund in the mail. I have a record of all texts,that I sent to him, which show that he was very unresponsive to my questions regarding when the wrapping would be done. I also have a copy of the emailed receipt showing the total cost.
