  Proceed with caution if you are thinking about using H&H Roofing. My aunt reached out to H&H Roofing first of August 2024 to have them come out to look at her roof and gutters for any damage from a recent storm. Hunter S. came out and looked at her roof and gutters, he informed my aunt that her roof and gutters will need to be replaced. My aunt informed Hunter S. that she would like to proceed and use H&H Roofing. My aunt, at that time, was impressed with Hunter S. and she recommended that I contact him for the damage that I had on my house from the same storm. Hunter S. came out and informed me that I just needed new a gutter and fascia on the back of my house. He wrote up a bid for the work and I signed it while he was at my house. Hunter S. informed me that my damage was not severe and the repairs would be a few weeks out and I was ok with that.
  Fast forward to October 21, 2024, two months since I signed the bid. I sent a text message to Hunter S. asking if he had an idea when they will be out, I never received a response back from him. Also, during these two months, my aunt and her insurance company tried to get ahold of Hunter S. and he never responded back to either of them.
  On October 28, 2024, I called H&H Roofing and asked to speak with Hunter S. boss. A short time later Billy H. (owner) called me back. When I spoke with Billy H., I told him the issue that my aunt and myself had with Hunter S. At no time did Billy H. apologize and he seemed irrigated that I called to complain. He informed me that they are down a gutter company because their insurance over-lapped and he would talk to Hunter S. He asked that I email him my aunt's address to the cell number that he called me from, which I did after we got off the call.
  As of date of this message I nor my aunt has heard from Hunter S. and from Billy H.
  Again, proceed with caution using this company.

  Lori we are sorry to hear this and apologize for any communication breakdown.
  We did speak to you about the issue and delay. We are not doing any repairs yet due to the nice weather and we are still working on finishing up the roofing season as that is time & weather sensitive.  Some people have homes that are still patched, tarped, or even no roofs at all due to the historic amount of storm damage in the entire southeast part of Nebraska.  Some of these tornado victims are just wanting to get back into their own home before snow flies and they were delayed with framing issues, material delays, and insurance company delays. Winter is approaching fast as well. We had several hail storms, tornados, derecho winds, etc. We did not take a deposit for your job, only signed you up to be on the list of repairs.
  In addition to the multiple storms this season, there is a short labor force this year due to all the storm damage work that needs done.
  As we have explained, we don't just hire anyone like some companies do just to do the work and not be professionally trained. We take pride in our work
  and we need to make sure our workers are properly trained, insured, etc. We did try to call you back and your voicemail was full. Again we are sorry for any miscommunication, the gutter and fascia repairs are both metal projects and can be done year round and right now, we have to wait until we are done roofing for the season.

  When it comes to finding and hiring the best roofing contractor, ensuring you make the right choice is paramount for the success of your claim.   Hans H***** was absolutely amazing at working with our insurance adjuster and getting the maximum insurance coverage for replacement of our townhouse roofs. Within 48 hrs of getting our claim and making the down payment, he and his crew were on sight and starting the work. In 3 1/2 days they had completed the job on our seven buildings. They were extremely efficient and worked long days to get the job done. They made three rounds to get nails and debis removed from yards. Han’s ability to get the best insurance coverage for our project (he is passionate about that) meant that we did not have to assess our owners the $4500 - $9500 that we were expecting to assess them. Everyone is ecstatic about that.
  I would recommend that you contact H and H to have your roof inspected if you have any indication that you might have hail damage. Have nearby buildings replaced their roofs recently? It doesn’t cost to have an inspection done.
