I contacted Dr. Dan's on June 30 to get a freezer repaired. An appointment was arranged for July 7. This appointment was delayed until July 11 as the technician had a family emergency. On July 11 the technician came and diagnosed the freezer issue. I paid $*** for the visit (which counts towards repair labor) and was told that the proper parts would be determined and I would be contacted about a repair date once the parts delivery date was confirmed. I called on July 15 to see if there was an update and the office person said they would have to ask and get back to me. I called again on July 19 for an update and was told nothing appeared to be in the system, but they would check with the parts manager the next morning. Having not received a call back, I called again on July 21 and was told that Dr. Dan's would not be able to service my freezer as they had too much work to do. I asked if they would be refunding my $*** and was told that a check would be put in the mail Monday morning (25th). Today is August 4 and I have not received a check. I called to inquire about the check on Monday, August 1, and Tuesday, August 2. On both occasions the phone rang until the answering machine picked up. I left a message each time, but have not received a call back. In fact the only time I've received a call from Dr. Dan was to reschedule the initial visit.
