  First of all, I had only wished I came to this site before we hired ********* ******* to install our gates! WOW! Shocking what a SCAMMER that my gut was trying to tell me the entire transaction & I didn’t listen to myself ….. I have almost identical facts that happened to us as these other scammed customers - $2,500 was INSISTED upon before he would install gates on our property, no gates but just 2 poles, and ultimately these poles need to be removed from ground as they are too small for our gate size - We paid him $2,500 cash and he did give an invoice to reflect that on January 29,2023 - Never saw him again!! - We ordered two gates and never received - We have received months of text messages of one excuse after another. Even his Mother ******* has called us and stated ********* is sick and that she’s trying to gather his paperwork to pay us back but that he was incapacitated medically. (I don’t believe it) - What a scamming family! He even brings his son on his SCAMMING ENDEAVORS How pitiful for that Son to be raised by a drug addict, who’s aggressive in nature and tone, a COMPLETE THIEF! - Filing with police report today, 4/11/23 for Theft of Services I’ve had to hire another gate man to install our beautiful gate. And need to pay someone else to remove the 2 small of posts he left us with I’m upset with husband & I for not pulling his name up on the internet before we paid him. ********* had an aggressive demeanor that made me feel very uncomfortable to speak to him in person, hears him on the phone and had my husband deal with him. After reading on the internet that he has gone from County to county scamming MANY people, is scary to me. And hopefully he is in JAIL, after seeing the News article and Knoxville court docs about him! Wow! EVIL HUMAN!!! I want my money back ********* *******!

  In August 2022 a manager at ** ***** in Athens, TN recommended ********* ******* to me as a quality builder of gates. He touted his Christian values and his having been hired by Nashville musicians to build gates at their estates. I called Mr. ******* who came out to our home to provide a quote. At that time he provided photos of gate designs and we agreed on the gate and price. We completed a contract on September 1 and I gave him $2,500 for materials. He was to return in a month for installation. At that time, he made a snide comment about the contractor who was building our fence saying, “He’ll never finish this fence at the rate he’s going. I’ll be here before he ever finishes.” Since that time, I have exchanged dozens of text messages with mr. ******* always promising the gate was nearly completed. There have been excuse upon excuse from him. From him being ill to him not being able to find a subcontractor for laser cutting.

  *** ****** ** *** ** ******* **** contracted with Faith Custom Design to install automatic gates at our entrance. We entered into agreement in March 2022. We paid a deposit of $2000.00. They came out within two weeks and set the posts and then we've never seen them again. I have a record of numerous texts back and forth over the last 12 months in which they have forwarded excuse after excuse. We discovered a couple of weeks ago that they have been doing this very same thing to many other customers. The owner is a thief and a lier. I don't believe he ever had any intention of completing the work. It is especially troubling that they would do this to a church while claiming to be a christian and giving God glory for their business success. We have asked repeatedly if we could just come and get the gates which he claimed were finished. But I have not received any response. We would like to have the gates or our $2000.00 back.

  ********* ******* DBA Faith Custom Designs set two round metal posts in my driveway and was paid $1,500 upon setting the posts as deposit and was to received the remaining $3700 upon completion of the job. He called us the next day and asked for more money. We said no. He then stated he would not work on our gate. We asked for our money back and he refused. Instead he only sent $2 back via ***** and stated we owed him money for setting two metal posts and "shop hours". We said we didn't pay you $1500 to set two posts. Give us the gate you used these "shop hours " to make. He refused and said he would not give us the gate unless we gave him more money. We offered to buy materials so that he would finish. He refused. He then proceeded to send us pictures of gates he claimed to build and told us work continues despite us refusing to give him more money. We reiterated what was in the written agreement. He was not due anymore money till he completed the job. He then claimed to have spent $1500 on the gate automation controls. But would not provide that either. He refused to provide a copy of his insurance and instead provided a redacted copy that was not an actual insurance policy. This guy is a crook and has pulled this same scam on many people in the area. We are trying ro get him arrested for theft and fraud. He is apparently a felon with a drug habit. He claims to be a Christian and posts Bible verses on his ********.

  We met with ********* ******* on 10/16/22, after contacting him via ******** *********** about gate instillation. We had previously purchased gates, simply needed them installed. After discussing our desires with ********* and letting him know we have a total of 3 sets to be installed, he offered us a group discount. Upon meeting with him on 10/16/22, we paid half cash down, resulting in us paying $1,500.00. ********* stated he would begin working by installing the posts on 10/18/22. On 10/18, ********* was a no-show. We contact him to question why, he responded with the weather being an issue. Rain was in the forecast, but it had yet to rain. Fast forward, several additional commitments were give by *********, but he continued to be a no-show and no-call. My wife followed his group page on ******** and made a comment on one of the finished jobs he posted. Her comment was "beautiful job! Can wait for ours to be installed". ********* immediately began private messaging her on ********, demanding to know who she was and why she was commenting. Fast forward, several calls have been made to *********, numerous text messages back and forth that have all been saved, several attempts to get him to commit to either completing the job or issuing a refund and bringing our gates back. None of which he has responded to, beside very aggressive text messages that he works for gratitude, not money. He continues to hide behind his "faith", which he uses to try and "trick" people into thinking he is a trustworthy businessman, which he is not. We have contacted a lawyer and are issuing him a 15 day notice, to either complete the job or issues a refund and bring our gates back to us. Our lawyer has advised a police report is not necessary, but would help. We are filing one today, mailing his notice certified, and meeting with our Judge tomorrow morning. Please, beware of this scam artist!!

  We contracted with Faith Custom Design, Christian Needham on 1-31-2021, for 2 custom design gate ,2 ghost controls and 2 drive up sensors. We were in the process of building the brick columns and we would let him know we he could install the gates etc. He came out the next day and installed 2 post on each side for our brick layer to do his part. Due to COVID and other unforeseeable events with the brick layer it took longer than expected. I contacted Mr. Needham late 2021 to give him an update and tell him we were almost ready. Of course his response was no problem I'll get right on your gates. April of 2022 my husband starts calling and texting him we are ready for the gates... Time after time after time there was always some excuse. Then out of the blue he will text us and say going to be next week. Weeks go by and I finally decide I need to check this man out because he is obviously not a man of his word and he leans heavily on using his faith and god to make you think he is honorable. The things I found with a internet search and background check is astounding we did not do our homework as we took him at his word. The previous compliant is exactly like mine. Its his MO!!! Please beware of this man he will take your money and disappear. I am having to file suit against him which is a pain BUT I will do whatever it takes to get my gates etc. or get our hard working money back. We do have a contract and all the texts from the beginning of this ordeal. Mr. Needham I dare say the way you are doing business you will not find yourself in good light of anyone. Also, he was featured in a TV news article about his work ethic and taking peoples money and they never see him again We found him on Facebook..BEWARE do your homework..

  On 11/22/2021 we paid Christian Needham $2,000 upfront based on a $5,600 quote to build and install a gate for us. He assisted us with getting another contractor to install the columns for the gate and he never returned to install the gate. We have called/texted/sent messages on Facebook and he refuses to complete the job. When I sent him a message on Facebook, he called my husband, and said he would complete the project on his own time. He was angry and hung up without the opportunity for my husband to respond or for them to discuss finishing the project. Because of his anger on the phone and Facebook feedback describing his temperament when questioned about finishing work, we would like our $2,000 back.

  I contracted with Mr N******, DBA Faith Christian Designs, on March 10th, 2022, to build a set of gates for my driveway. He promised the gates would be in by the end of March or the first of April. I gave him a check for half of the cost on the day we met. On April 2nd he came and set two posts on my property then never returned. To this day, June 24th, 2022, the gates that were promised by the 1st of April have never been installed. I am left with two hideous posts in the ground and no gates. I have pleaded, begged, and urged this man to do the right thing to no avail. I have asked him to come and remove the eyesore with which he left me and to return my money but he refuses. I want to stop anyone else from doing business with this man. He tries to use his “faith” to sucker people into doing business with him then he ghosts them. I am going today to file paperwork and go through the hassle of small claims court to get this resolved but there must be a way to warn others to stay away! I wish I had checked with the BBB before I employed him. Buyer Beware! He will not complete your job. Christian N****** does enough to make you think he is legitimate, but that is the end of the story. I have a series of texts proving every word of this that I will present in court.

  My complaint with Faith Custom Designs has been settled. He did come and install the driveway gates. He left me with several issues that have to be addressed, but the gates are in. I’m sure it is because I went to the BBB. Thanks for your help.
