    My wife and I bought an old house with our life savings. It was in need of a lot of work. Unfortunately, more than we expected. We were struggling for weeks on end to repair all that needed to be done, almost entirely on our own, under the cloud of disappointment and challenge that comes with the gifts of grace of an old home in disrepair. Then we found Ware's. The reason we moved here was to try to find the people and culture that has been mostly destroyed by modernity and progress. Mr. Ware and his sons were a Godsend. Affirming that the trades of old still exist, family serving the community as it should be. Ours was a very small task as far as plumbing jobs go. But to us it was critical. A common situation, I am sure. Ware's treated us as if we were one of their big clients. Chris took the time to talk through the situation and offer up all kinds of advice and insight, then visit our home to offer more help. The nature of the skilled trades is often a paradox for both the customer and the tradesman: the good tradesmen are booked up for weeks and can charge what might be outrageous amounts to the potential customer. While they should be rewarded for their good work, the customer often needs a job done right away but can neither afford to pay or wait for the good guys to fit them in. That is if they even have time to return your call. Chris returned my call. It would be one of many calls and exchanges as he and his sons would end up making several trips to our home, fitting us in between the bigger jobs. We ended up altering our plans a couple of times and Chris took it all in stride, ultimately finishing up the job, managing the inspection process, and even doing the last little bit of actually hooking up our new stove. You may find a cheaper or less busy plumber. I don't know. But I do know that Ware's lives by their word, delivers skilled service, and treats you with respect, no matter how small the job. Ware's is the ideal tradesman. Hire him.
