    We are ** residents currently in CA as my husband is active duty military. I opened a post box at Pak Mail, ************************************************** in July 2023. I paid for box #*** for one year. I would call the location every 1-2 months and pay to have the boxed mail sent to us in our CA base housing. I last called them to get mail sent January 13, 2024. I called yesterday March 26 to do the same. Got a messsge saying number no longer in service. So I googled and saw permanently closed. I called the other Pak Mail in *******, they said the location closed and Id need to call corporate for info and gave me that number. I spoke with ******************* of Pak Mail/Annex this morning. She stated she hasnt been able to reach owner *****, didnt know date it closed, found out it closed because she was contacted by a customer. Stated I should reach out to the local post office there, that generally mail is held for 10 days then returned to sender. Im appalled that no notice was provided, when this is personal mail at stake here. I have no idea how much mail Im missing, and this is when tax documents may have been sent. Ive completed a service request with **** to see if any of my mail is being held. Im unable to complete a forward using that address because it was a business, the **** system will not allow me to forward from that union Ave address. I paid for a years service and that was not completed. ******************* did provide me the owner Myrons email as Id requested today, sh sent him an email saying Id called her and copied me on email to give him my contact. I replied all asking him to call me today. I did not receive contact from *****. I let **** know Id be filing a ********************. Complaint because tampering with mail is a widely-known criminal offense, and her stating that each location is independently owned and operated, it is still somehow related to the PakMail franchise and I think they need to show some more involvement in trying to get this mail situation remediated.
