Install new Sheetrock where damaged was removed 5.Painting bedroom walls ceiling 6. Paint exterior trim right of garage One year warranty June 8, 2024 second work order. I engaged Lucius Complete Home to repair the damage caused by a car hitting house my (bedroom )wall and to carry out a complete restructuring of the wall, including installing sheet rock and painting damage wall. Replacing all the bricks in the front of the house. However, I have been disappointed with the quality of their work three times . Lucius been to my house with the same problems and still not professional done. Simple tasks like installing sheet rock and painting the wall had to be redone three times. After the house settled, the poor workmanship became evident. I did not ask for a distressed look, but I was informed by ***** that using acid on the bricks to remove distress would not cause any damage. Unfortunately, it permanently damaged the bricks by stripping off the top layer. I am disappointed with the work done by Lucius Complete Home, considering the amount I paid. I am displeased with the appearance of my house both inside and out, and I regret using their services.I have reached out to ************************* operation manager I have kept him informed of all situations with pictures. ******* explained to me in a message he would forward information to David ***** Lucius (owner). I called left message several times. I have had call return. Aug 2, 2024 Third time painting one wall . ********************* installed sheet rock.

Lucius Complete Home provided an estimate to ****************** in November of 2023 to repair damage on the front of her home caused by a vehicle colliding into her home. The provide estimate had a few revisions between November until it was agreed upon and signed by ****************** in or around January 10, 2024. The insurance provider made changes to the pricing which delayed the final revision. The signed proposal included, removing and replacing bricks at the front of the home from left to right, repairing the top and bottom plate along with the wall studs that were damaged, insulation in the wall and replacing damaged backer board at side of window, replacing the damaged sheetrock approx. 18 corner to corner on the interior along with 18of baseboard. The contract included painting the bedroom walls and ceiling and the exterior trim at the corner of the garage to the left corner by her front door using matching paint. The interior room would also be re-carpeted as per our signed contract. Before the work began a foundation inspection was completed by the insurance engineer who relayed the findings to the *************** handling the foundation repairs. The *************** completed the foundation repairs as required prior to the beginning of our work listed above on the contract.
The work Lucius Complete Home performed as per the signed contract completed on or around the end of March 2024. The final payment from ****************** is dated March 25th, 2024. During the repairs ***************** was informed and shown the progress of the interior portions of the wall once the old sheet rock was removed, the new studs that were installed, the insulation and once the new sheet rock was installed and painted. The exterior brick portion was also shown to ******************. Each time she was highly satisfied with the work. The first email we received from ****************** was in April praising the brick man with photos of him cleaning out left over mortar in her flower bed. Here is her review of him and his work verbatim.

    Lucius Complete Home

*********************** and his  brick men did an
excellent job on bricking my house.
I explained to **********; I had mortar in
my flower bed after they finished
their assignment .  It was pretty hard moving around.  ***** not only came out to remove the mortar out my
flower bed.  I had brought my flowers Thanks you ***** ***** landscape
my flower bed.  He did an excellent
    job!
***** is a guy  if something is wrong
***** will do all in his power to make it right.  ***** is a man stand on his
word. He kept me informed in detail
with every assignment.  He is no
stranger to anyone.  He was friendly
to all my neighbors.  He is a very hard working man, honest, true to his
words.  He love what he do thats
what makes a difference.  I offer to pay him.  I appreciate his willingness!

    Thank you
    *******************************

The first email with a call that we received expressing any kind of concern wasnt until the first of May 2024, almost two months after completion. We asked ****************** to send over the photos with her concerns, which she did, and we agreed to come back out and do the necessary cosmetic repairs. The concerns were regarding the sheetrock finish work, her A/C vents in the bedroom we painted and haze on the bricks. All repairs were scheduled, however, prior to completing the repairs ****************** sent an additional email before we were able to address her concerns stating the following.

Subject: Lucius Complete Home Your have destroyed my house inside out

    *******************************

Subject: Lucius Complete Home You have destroyed my house inside out
*********************** of Lucius Complete Home has caused extensive damage to my property. The quality of workmanship on the interior walls was subpar, as seen in the pictures I provided before . Other contractors I consulted with were shocked by the poor workmanship. ******, I initially thought my house was in good condition, but upon closer inspection, 1 noticed that the mortar on the bricks was not properly applied, resulting in a distressed look. I was told that the bricks should have been cleaned, but some bricks are now off-level, which may cause problems in the future.   I request that the manager of Lucius Complete Home contact me to schedule an appointment to assess the issues with my property and discuss potential solutions.

After this email we spoke with ****************** and assured her we would be back to address these concerns. The bricks were washed in June 2024 and the wall repairs were completed by the first of July 2024. ****************** again approved of the work completed by our company. We then received another email from ****************** on July 23rd, 2024, stating the following.

    Good Anthony
On July 8th, you sent ************************* to repair the damage that ****  ****** failed to do. Unfortunately, I am experiencing the same issue again.
Lucius Complete Home has disappointed me twice with its poor work quality.
After the house settles, the poor workmanship will be evident. I asked ***** if the acid would damage the bricks, and he replied that it would not, it has cause permanent damage by stripping the top layer, resulting in a dull appearance. I am disappointed with the work performance of ******* Complete, considering the amount of money paid out.
    Respectfully
    Very unprofessional poor performance

Lucius Complete Home immediately responded and let her know we would coordinate again with the interior folks and brick man to address any additional concerns. ****************** sent me a follow up email to this the next morning stating the following.

    Good morning ************;

Last week, I took notice of the walls in my home and was dismayed by their appearance. I reached out to a friend for a second opinion and was informed that a professional business should maintain a professional appearance.

Upon closer inspection, I noticed the socket wall and socket.

I am concerned that the interior of my walls may have been constructed with the same lack of attention to detail.

*******************, who had done excellent work for my neighbor recommended Lucius Complete Home.

I want to ensure that any work done on my home is of a professional caliber and meets the appropriate standards.

    Respectfully yours
    *******************************

We thanked ****************** for this information and assured her once again we would address these concerns. We had the interior man back out to address the concerns and ***** our brick man attempted to schedule another wash of the bricks however ****************** denied his appointment.

Lucius Complete Home has made every effort to accommodate ****************** and make necessary adjustments to her home as needed. It seems as if ****************** is stating the house settles and then she notices issues. If this is in fact the case, we would recommend she contact someone with the *************** who repaired the foundation as she should not be experiencing this much settling or changes in the foundation. We would also recommend ****************** contact State Farm to send out someone to evaluate the repairs since the insurance company paid the claim from the original vehicle damages to her home. Lucius Complete Home provided a 1-year workmanship warranty for the work weve completed. We will always honor the warranty if any major issues with the workmanship arise. Were sorry if ****************** isnt pleased with our company, **** made attempts to rectify the issues with the last attempts for brick wash turned down by *****************. At this time, we are unsure how to move forward.

    Sincerely,

    Lucius Complete Home

Hired this company to correct problems from a previous contract approximately 4 years ago with problems with rotten wood and exterior painting. The owner, 4 years ago, (David Lucius) said I would not have any rotten wood on my exterior. Painting started going wrong in less than 6 months. They did come out and repaint some areas. Now I have had to spend extra money to replace wrottten wood once again and repaint. They started this job mid December and on 12/20/2022 I was told the job was completed. Not so! Have been waiting since 12/20/22 for their horrible work to be corrected. Was told by David Lucius on 01/04/2023 that he would have the painter (**) come back and correct any problems. Hasn't happened. ** told me on 01/16/2023 he would be here when the weather was good that he would be here to fix all problems. Didn't happen and did not return my phone call on12/20/2023 to see when he would be here. Do not believe their website about customer service. ************************ false!

In June 2018 Lucius Complete Home replaced multiple areas of bad wood, at that time, around the home for **************. The exterior was caulked and painted after the wood replacement. In December of 2018 we were assigned to ************* home to provide an estimate on roof repairs, those repairs were completed in January of 2019. Recently in November of 2022, ************** called our office for a quote on approximately 36/FT of gutter along with rotten fascia and some touch-*** to the exterior painting. We scheduled our gutter technician to provide a quote for the section of gutter and fascia replacement, this work was also completed in November of 2022. The painting touch-*** were assigned over to our painter to provide an estimate, and in or around the beginning of December 2022, we began the work. The touch-*** were made using the homeowners paint. When this work was marked complete on or about December 20th, ************** sent the final payment along with the technician. It was the same evening or the next evening on December 21st that our office received multiple emails describing his displeasure with the work. ************** said he was going to stop payment on the check and would like the issues resolved. ** (the painter) was reassigned to the project to address the issues. He was waiting for the weather to cooperate to be sure the paint had ample time to adhere and dry. Early in January 2023 Mr. ********************** did speak with ************** and assured him the issues would be resolved. ************** is correct, ** did contact him again after he spoke with Mr. **********************, and because of the delays, we have assigned a new painter to the project. The new painter contacted ************** and was by his home last week, the week of January 30th *****. He has notified ************** of the timeframe and is scheduled to address the painting issues. We look forward to resolving these issues for ************** as soon as possible.
