On December 30th, 2023, I purchased a used, refurbished hot tub from Mr. **** ******** of Misty Mountain Spas, in Benton, TN. The hot tub had a significant leak from delivery. It took Mr. ******** 2 weeks to fix it, which put about 300 gallons of water under my deck. Then it took 2 months for him to provide the fitting cover and spa steps, knowing that I just had a major surgery. These parts should have been delivered with the spa. It has now been 6 months since he promised to send a replacement spa jet for the one that failed on day 1. In the interim, other jets have failed. **** ******* has refused to return many phone calls and text messages, as well as messages via his ******** business page. His website URL is not real; it is a dead-end, and the domain name is for sale. It has been a long succession of no-shows, lies and excuses. I always prefer to support small, local businesses; but purchasing a used hot tub from Misty Mountain Spas was a mistake. The savings compared to buying a new unit was not worth the months of aggravation and disappointment. Better to buy from a professional vendor, because unfortunately, this outfit is neither professional nor honorable. The only thing I am seeking is for Mr. ******** to send me the replacement spa jet that he promised me in January.

I have not heard from the business.

The purchase price was $3,500, that is not the amount I am disputing. I'm not trying to get any money out of this. I only want to get the replacement spa jets.

Do not pay this vendor in advance.
