  Please do your research, talk to your PCP, and think wisely before going to this place... it is a total scam. I was recommended to go to Dr. K********* by a coworker. My first visit, a consult, the NP, Melanie, sat me down and we discussed my symptoms and then she showed me some Testosterone pellets and said, "these are similar to the pellets you'll get", and I thought that was so odd that she said that, bc blood work hadn't even been done yet to determine if I actually even needed Testosterone therapy. The visits also will cost you about $350 OUT OF POCKET bc insurance does not cover these office visits. Insane cost for a 15 min. visit!! I went back a couple weeks later to follow up on my lab results, and was told that my testosterone was low- even though the results that they gave me showed that I was in a completely normal range. The NP told me that the "range is out of date" and that my Testosterone is extremely low. Then, the NP prepared me the Testosterone pellets without even asking me if I wanted the pellets or if I wanted to do the self-injections. I opted for the injections and did them at home from Jan. 2021-May 2021, and I eventually decided to stop the injections bc it literally didn't help me at all, I was tired of giving myself injections every 10 days, and bc New Life was charging me $75/month (for what, I don't even know- but it wasn't for my injections or supplies, I'll tell you that) on top of $350 per office visit. Also, I never even met this "Dr. K*********", which is also not good. When I decided to stop doing the injections in May, I called New Life's office to ask what I needed to do to get off the injections. The receptionist told me that a nurse would call me back, but no one did. I had to call again hours later to ask to speak with a nurse again, but still no one was available. The receptionist asked me what I was calling about. I told her that I was wanting to get off the injections, and then the RECEPTIONIST told me that I could "just st

  New Life Physicians does not accept insurance, that is made aware to any new patients calling to schedule an appointment as is the pricing of the new patient consultation. New patient appointments are $350 and are 1 hour and include a physical, discussion of symptoms, overview of bio-identical hormone therapy, what bloodwork will be done, and protocol for future appointments. Other office visit prices vary between $50-$150 depending upon the nature of the visit. As a functional medicine office, we use an "optimal range" for hormone levels that is not the same as the labs national reference range, therefore, your traditional primary care physician may deem your levels acceptable while your levels and symptoms would indicate suboptimal for our reference range. An option for our patients is to do self injections via our at-home testosterone program. The price for this program is $75/month and includes the medication and supplies (needles and syringes) shipped directly to the patients home. All costs are discussed before the patient consents to this treatment plan. At New Life Physicians we have 2 providers and both are listed on our website. If a patient has a preference, that would need to be stated at the time of scheduling and our front office staff would be happy to schedule with the preferred provider. We also believe every patient has the right to bodily autonomy, and if they choose to stop a course of treatment that is within their right to do so without questioning. Stopping of Testosterone therapy is simple and requires no weaning process and does not create any negative side effects. If a patient has a question for our nursing staff, they can contact the nurses via the patient portal (every patient is created an account and given that info at their first appointment), or they can call the office and leave a message. Per the Nurse Correspondence contract, the nurses have 24-72 business hours to respond to a patients inquiry unless it is emergent.
  
  Of course we want all of our patients to have amazing results! Those results require time and communication between patient and provider to achieve. If at any point a patient feels their results are unsatisfactory, or has concerns about their treatment plan, we recommend they schedule an office visit to discuss those concerns with a provider so any adjustments can be made to make sure the patient feels their best.
