    10/24 called/ texted ***** **** regarding purchase/installation of 2 garage doors.
    chose HAAS doors w/quote of over $12,000 for 2 doors & instillation. ***** came to our build site & measured the openings. At this time we paid ***** over $6000 via check.
    ***** came to install & top door was too short. ***** accused my husband of giving him the wrong measurements. We had the text stating the correct measurements, he then blamed HAAS door company. He left the incorrect door hanging in our attached garage with no way of lifting it. The door was squishing our expensive extension cord too ,with it being dead weight we could no longer access our home without having to climb the stairs
    reached out to ***** via multiple texts/calls to request remove the door so that we could have access to our home without climbing stairs. He called back, said we could take the “door down ourselves and scrap it or that I could drive through it with our truck”. Told him I could see he read my texts and was not responding and he said “some of us work”. I was at the hospital working my nursing shift as was my husband. ***** said to us that if he knew we were nurses sooner he “would’ve charged us more” .***** finally took the door down at this point our new replacement door was in. He texted me to tell me the door was down & that I “should be tickled”

    He left a mess in our garage, basement door had large gap that he had to come back and fix clearly installed incorrectly, basement door is still bowed and hinges are crooked, door is clearly misaligned. Texted ***** asking to meet at the build site. He said nope, asked what the problem was, told him the bowed door and that the hinges aren’t right, He told me that he had been out to our property enough and if we didn’t pay him the other half by 1/4 he will take a lien out on our home. Told him that we did not appreciate his threats nor have we ever held out on paying him but we expect the work to be correct.
