      I was admitted 7-15-2022, and discharged with a certificate of completion 8-13-2022. During the admission process i am told to hand over all my belongings (black suitcase with my attire, ********* bookbag with my hygienes and ********** bookbag that i used as personal bag and a carton of Newport 100s cigarettes) and Mirror Lake staff is to go though them and when finished give me the items I was able to keep, and the things i wasnt allowed to keep they would put somewhere SAFE in a storage place. When I finally received my belongings the following day I was missing two packs of cigarettes. I immediately addressed the issue with staff and was directed to write on paper the time it was giving to me and they look further into it. Fast forward to the middle of my stay July 28th my partner had dropped off a carton of Newport 100s I took one pack gave the rest to staff to keep locked up. I check out another pack and again 2 packs were missing, not counted for on the log sheet either. I was furious and took my concerns to the clinical director(*** ********* and she replaced them. Discharge date ******(lead tech) was rushing me to sign paperwork and leave stated she was by herself, she hands me my black suitcase and i asked about my other 2 bags ****** stated they was in my suitcase. I took her word and did not look through because the urgency from her. I put in my car and left. When i got home to unpack noticed my bookbags,pair of jeans,2 pair of leggings and prescribed foot insert were missing. Contacted Mirror Lake they were very dismissive so I drove 1 hr to the facility to talk to them personally. I was told they could not find my items and was very rude/dismissive with me. I need to be compensated for my belonging, as they stated they would put in a safe place during my treatment.
