I’m absolutely at a loss for words to describe my journey with Brian H**** of National Seating & Mobilty????
My 11 year old wheelchair was so dangerous for me to be in. But I had no choice as I couldn’t afford to buy a new one until this year. It was challenging to say the least to find a company that accepted my insurance, and get m into a safe wheelchair before I received any more injuries.
I got a call from Brian on March 29, 2024. On Monday July 1,2024 he delivered my new “wheels”(wheelchair). He faxed paperwork to my physicians office that very same day. He paid close attention to all of my diagnoses . When we met for the 1st time was on May 3, 2024. He was here for over 2 1/2 hours( about 30 mins was doing the evaluation with a physical therapist ( required by my insurance) Brian brought up suggestions i never knew was possible to give me as much independence as possible. I spoke with 7 different companies trying to get a wheelchair. Only 2 other co. accepted my insurance and both said I would have to travel over an hour just for the evaluated. Then after insurance approves my claim, it will be an additional 4-6 months to get my new wheels delivered.
When Brian delivered my chair personally, he was here for over 1 1/2 hours. That’s unheard of disabled world. From start to delivery, you could tell that Brian truly cared about me and the severity of the multiple issues I was living with. He was the first person to ever have seen me go down then back up my outdoor ramp without any assistance. The idea of ever doing that was so far fetched, I didn’t dare dream it could be possible.
I know this review is very long. But to me, it’s still not enough to express my deepest gratitude and appreciation for everything he’s done for me ?? I’d bet my own life I’m not the first nor will I be the last person he’s made life so much better for by caring about a perfect stranger.
In closing, please if you ever need for yourself or no of anyone else that needs help call NS&M

Such a flakey company. My dad had leg amputated and has a worn out wheelchair. Been trying to get on their financial hardship for a new chair. It's been almost 3 years with alot of bs. Sent everything you requested and still nothing. Pathetic

All I'm trying to do is pay for the wheelchair ordered for my mother-in-law through her nursing home. It's frustrating and strange to deal with a company that will not take your money. The cost of the chair is almost $5000. I can't imagine why a manual chair is so costly; however, her therapist suggested purchasing the chair. Kickback, perhaps?
I was able to talk to one person who gave me a price, and she was going to call me back to take the payment. That was about a week ago. Since then I have called numerous times, spent a lot of time on hold, left messages, and received no return call. This company has problems.

This is the worst experience I've ever encountered with any business. Their customer service representative was dismissive, setup an appointment only to cancel one half hour which complicated my schedule and that of my staff. This company does not return phone calls as promised on their voice message. When I did manage to get through I was put on endless hold only to be told that the extension of the person I called is not available.
Save your money and go to another dealer where you will be treated with the courtesy and respect that you deserve. National Seating & Mobility has nothing for you.

Horrible Experience. It's been a year since we first met with them. We had our final appt on June 14, 2022. We received my son's wheelchair on Nov 31,2022.
The brake on my son's wheelchair broke within a week or two of delivery. The design is poor, this isn't on NSM. How they handled it, is. From the start they had little communication. In the beginning we received an automated text. They struggle to return phone calls and emails. The NH branch does answer the phone. I had to reach out to Boston Childrens Hospital in order to receive a return phone call from NSM during the ordering proces. We worked with BCH and NSM.
I was told repair parts would be ordered and should arrive within a week. A week goes by, no communication from NSM. I follow up, they can't get the repair parts. They never called to tell me this. The manufacturer repairs the chair using a demo model. The brake breaks again within a couple of weeks. NSM is notified on Jan 11,2023. They have yet to repair the broken brakes. This is a huge safety issue. They don't seem to care. It's been a complete nightmare trying to work with this company. Avoid.
