      Workout Anytime has failed to respond to my previous Better Business Bureau Complaints. Workout Anytime has failed to allow me to end my contract on their terms by claiming my in person notifications did not count and that my email notification was too early. Workout Anytime finally claimed that my third attempt to notify them on my desire to end my contract came after the 30 days prior to the end of the contract to count and that I had to log into my ****** ******* account to submit the request.
      Workout Anytime now has submitted what they claim are overdue fees in the amount of $186.45 to ****** *** ********** ********* ** ***. The Law firm continues to call, email and harass me on behalf of Workout Anytime. ****** *** ********** can be contacted at ************ ** *********************

      I moved from Chattanooga, Teneessee to the state of Maine in December of 2023. I was a member of workout anytime on Cherokee BLVD in Chattanooga, Tennessee. In December 2023 I walked into the store to cancel my membership. I was told that I have an online membership and had to do the cancelation online. I went online that day and requested a cancelation and was emailed that I had a one year membership and it was up April 5th, I could not cancel at that time.
      On February 5th I called the Chattanooga store from Maine and told them I want to cancel my membership at the end on my contract in April 2024. This was giving them plenty of notice. I was told over the phone I had to call back at the end of my contract in April 2024.
      I received an email yesterday, Wednesday, April 10, 2024 that I miss a payment at Workout Anytime. I clicked the link in the email to again attempt to cancel my membership and the link took me to the Planet Fitness website and to an account I had when I lived in Dalton, Georgia in 2022, that is also canceled. There was no Workout Anytime information from the link.
      I called Workout Anytime today, Thursday, April 11, 2024 to cancel my membership and was told that I have to give a 30 day notice and pay a $39.00 30 day notice cancelation fee. I disputed this over the phone and stated that I have attempted multiple times to give notice. They claim that when I called on February 5th I was emailed the cancelation process. It is not in my email nor in my spam.

         Workout Anytime has contacted me by phone and left a voice mail message stating that I have a past due balance of $39.98 for reoccurring dues.  Workout Anytime has apparently still not canceled my membership and continues to charge me monthly.  Thank you.

      So as per their contract, there was an initial breech where they overcharged me for a fee randomly, at first the customer service rep was extremely rude and treated me like a delinquent while saying I had to check online for my statements. So i did just that. I found the Workout Anytime Website, directed to **************************************************, Run by their managing accounting firm *** Fitness. which sells the franchise. After talking with a Filipino call center, I wished to cancel, They instructed me to view the contract, which stated I could cancel online, Due ti the initial overcharge which I saw as the initial breach of the contract, I chose to cancel.

      I called the gym again, and they once again told, me to go online. I went to the
      website again, and the website link to specifically cancel was broken. I again contacted the number to. *** Financial and asked to cancel again. they told me i had to do it online. as if, to discourage me. I Stayed on the phone and informed them that speific link was broken. After agruing for a while,. I set up a screen recording, showing the broken link, and notifying my wish to cancel.

      Days later i get an emaill saying they have billed again, and i could not cancel, due to they fact it wasnt dont on the website or in person.

      I expressed, how I had given my notice, and i would not be tolerating this. I knew that companies like this have predatory billing and would not cancel. I have repeatedly called the manager to no avail, and passed around to a customer service agent, Finally I notified them i would be billed at 300 per hour for any further claims to this. They continue to try to bill me, for months, then send it to 2 collections agencies.

      I have sent the manager an invoice for over 4000 dollars for my time at this point, while i have my evidence, date, and time stamped, and recorded. They have viewed my invoice 28 times, which included my proof, but refuse to remove the 115 claim.

      I started a membership at this location near the end of September I canceled my membership with the front desk employee October 29th. I have not been back since. I have google maps data confirming my last attendance. I have paid over $300 dollars of a gym membership I had trusted was closed by the front desk employee. Now I am required to pay an additional $39 dollar cancelation fee and another month of the subscription because they need a 30 day notice. They would not even offer a partial or even a fraction of compensation for this inconvenience. Even a fraction of a refund or at least voiding the cancellation fee would be greatly appreciated.
