      Placed an order June 2024 for a home elevator. Paid 10k to start order and license process. Sales representative said install would be in August 24’. Sales representative ghosted us and it took several week's to cash check. Received communication from president regarding payment of deposit. We had to provide copy of contract and cancelled check to prove payment. Turns out sales representative left company. President told us elevator is built and was to get back with us. To date there is no further communication. I’ve ******* **** Elevators and called each number I had access too to no avail. Contacted 5-6 different numbers. On 2 a recording simply said hello. No ability to leave message. Other numbers had no identification but did allow ability to leave message. Still waiting to hear back.

      Thank you for time and continued patience with REMI / Western Carolina Elevator or whatever “they’re going by today”. Attached please find three images. ****** ***** ******* is my wife. As you can see, the contract  is in her name. As background we’re getting an elevator because I have MS and stairs are becoming more of a challenge. The sales representative, Wes Y****, left the company almost as soon as he picked up the deposit. Just let me know if you have any questions. Thanks again!

      Good Morning,
      The *******'s placed their elevator order on June 12th,
      2024. WCE Production department had emailed multiple times in June, July and
      August seeking updates on their elevator shaft construction. They then went
      straight to the owner of Western Carolina Elevators to ask for their
      installation, however, it was revealed at that time that no construction had
      been started and they did not have an elevator shaft or machine room as
      required for installation of the elevator. WCE sent out a third party
      master mechanic on September 9th to take a look at everything and they are not
      ready for their installation so we are at a standstill for this project until
      the necessary construction is complete.

       I know **** stated in response to your letter I was:   not providing them shift dimensions to start elevator production  being uncooperative and not returning callsPlus I believe you said **** had sent an engineer out. **** through ***** did contact ***** ****** (according to ***** he also sells elevators for **** and other companies). When ***** returned he was going to contact ***** and provide update. I should be hearing from *****.)As explained I finally spoke with ***** last Thursday. He stated he had made ******** aware of our situation and she was suppose to get with me. He was surprised I hadn’t heard from her yet. He was to follow up with ******** and either he or ******** would get back with me by end of day. No word on Thursday so I followed up on Friday and Saturday to no avail. This afternoon I tried calling *****, ******** and their Production department. When none of them answered their phones I left a message stating this had been going on for far too long and I wanted a full refund with the expectation of receiving it by this Friday (September 20).  Please let me know if you have any questions.       Our cancellation policy is very clear per our contract. The deposit is non-refundable and the issues and delays have been due to the customer's inability to build the elevator shaft and machine room. We are more than willing to deliver their elevator and install it once they have prepared their elevator shaft and machine room and make their second payment.
