      Around April a GroGreen representative can to my house selling lawn treatment applications. I told the guy I was not interested in any subscription services. He continued into his sales pitch and I continued to state I did not want any reoccurring bills. He kept going until until we came to an agreement on a single treatment for 35$ which is half or the normal price of $70. the following month without my knowledge a second application was applied. I was unaware until an invoice came for the second treatment. I called the office and several times and someone finally returned my call. I explained to the lady the situation and let her know I never wanted more than one service and I do not want any continued services. The next month the same thing happed again and I call again and left messages. My call was returned and I went through the same explanation again. The next month I received another invoice for additional treatments. I called again and this time spoke to a man. I let him know everything that happened originally and on the follow up calls and tried to ensure it was cancelled. He told me the charges and the subscription would be taken care of. This week I received another invoice in the mail and called and left an angry message because this keeps happening. The office manager returned my call and informed me that I would responsible for all of the applications they applied without my consent. I told her I have called to cancel multiple time. There is no record of me requesting services, and they do not provide any contracts or agreements. I was told my bill would be sent to collection if I did not take care of it. I told her the same sequence of events that took place on all of the previous time I contact them. Her response was that they have no record of me cancelling my services and said I never requested and written confirmation. There was never anything that was signed or given to me that told me that treatments would be occurring indefinitely.

      Mr. ***** is no longer a customer, and we have wiped his account of any charges. We have never sent a customer to collections, and we have never made that threat to a customer. There was a misunderstanding on his part of how our service works, and he received multiple services before canceling. He was never charged for a new service after canceling. Those charges on his account were valid, but he now has a zero balance. This matter has been closed. Thank you.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I was threatened with collections by the female office manager and I called and cancelled after the first application.
