This law office is an overpriced joke for a lawyer. Tom Bibles office takes clients that are in desperate need to file bankruptcy due to deadlines for losing their property and tells their clients that they will take care of everything for them. In return, they charge an outrageous fee of over $4000.00 when most bankruptcy attorneys' fees for Chapter 13 are set by the Bankruptcy Court. This office and its careless attention when filling out my income ultimately caused me to lose my home. Yet they were paid almost all of their fee from the expensive payments set because my income was listed that I was making almost $6000.00 monthly. I was a small business owner and they counted my total income before any deductions such as payroll, business costs, insurance, or any other items necessary for me to run my business. My house payment was only $920.00 before filing, and with the wrong calculations for my income amount, my bankruptcy payment was over $1300.00 monthly. My mortgage was the only debt I owed other than maybe $2000 in credit card debt. The first time they filed the Bankruptcy Court judge dismissed my case because I was unable to afford the steep payment and ordered Tom Bible's office to recalculate my income and refile my Chapter 13 bankruptcy after doing so. They did refile my bankruptcy but added another $1000 monthly onto my income stating that my girlfriend, who only works 16 hours weekly and attends college full-time, supposedly contributed to my household. Due to this miscalculation, my bankruptcy payment was increased to $1500.00 which I definitely couldn't afford. Due to Tom Bible's office neglect, my case was ordered to be converted to Chapter 7 for failure to make payments. I sent at least 6 emails to their office concerning my bankruptcy after the judge ordered this conversion, asking what was going to happen from that point. Never received a response or got a return call. Keep in mind their office was paid over 75% of their over $4000 attorney fee.
