    Booked hotel room in Chattanooga on the trip home from TN. I got to the hotel and paid for the room. Upon entering the hotel there was a VERY strong smell of cleaning fluids used. went to the room, no fire alarms. roaches crawling on walls, the bed was nasty and stained pillows and sheets, the floor was nasty, the battery cover off of the TV was removed, and the place was a MESS. I turned around went to the front desk and told them I was not staying there he said he could give back my refund which I paid for on my card. I was in the 24-hour timeline allowed by hotel policies for my refund. He told me I had to contact corporate who is now giving me a run around. they want copies of my credit card statement , which I don't have this cycle yet , but did sent a receipt that they would not accept. I don't have any other purchases for that hotel just that one but they want all my info on my card!!!!! I also sent the reservation receipt . I want my money back for the room that I left because of the Nasty state of the room , the strong smell of cigarette smoke and body order in room. No fire alarms , Bathroom was in need of repairs holes in walls and cockroaches all over that I DID not want to bring HOME to Ohio. This was my first trip to TN and it was great except for this incident! Please help

    Traveled to Chattanooga TN on Friday, March 3, 2023 for a wedding. When I went to check into the hotel the receptionist said she would be back in a minute that she was busy. When she finally checked me in and we went to the room. Going up the stairwell was disgusting. There was trash and cigarettes' everywhere, the hallway to the room was the same. Once in the room things only got worse. There where holes in the walls, blood stains on the sheets, the smell was unbearable. The bathroom was molded/ I asked for a refund and was told no. We left and went to a different hotel.

    No I have not heard from this business, I doubt if either of us will hear from them.
    I do hope you have some success but maybe we can save someone else a repeat of my experience along with the bed bug bite.

    I did book through a third party that assured me this was a 4 star hotel. I paid 99.84 for the one night. The reservation support phone is 855-441-0233. They told me it was up to the motel and the motel said third party collected the funds. both were not interested. I did report to the Chattanooga Health dept. I also reported to Wyndham hotel customer support and was told they have nothing they can do even though it is a Wyndham hotel but they are independent. I have learned to not book third party and never a Wyndham hotel. Hard way to learn but maybe I can save someone else.
