    On September 21 2024, I hired 2 Men and a Truck to move my property from ** ****** ***** **** ********* ** ****** ** ***** to the ****** ******* **** *** *** ** ****** ********* *****.
I spoke to them 3 times before I decided to hire them to move me.
The asked me to list the heaviest items needing moved. Never did they said that they needed a complete inventory.
Each time I spoke to them they repeated the price, exactly the same with each discussion. $100 deposit that would be applied to the bill when the move was finished. $200 fee which would cover the use of the truck, the use of supplies and travel from my residence to the storage locker with ****** *******. $149 per hour for loading the truck and unloading the truck of which I paid for 2 hours.
When they arrived at my residence, they informed me that an hour was only 15 minutes and having me sign a tablet that stated, per the movers, that they had arrived and were ready to work.
I felt blindsided by the refusal of these men to do the work I hired and paid $418 for.
They only moved some, not all, of the furniture. Because I had already managed to bring 4 suitcases and 2 bags down they took those as well.
They also loaded a couple of storage bins.
After that they refused to load as anything else.
I paid $200 fee for travel, $298 for 2 hours of loading and unloading. Then they applied $100 for the deposit making my out of pocket $418.
They didn't give me the full 2 hours. My apartment is so full. I'm disabled. My mom has stage 4 cancer. Neither of us can do this move. My mom and I have both called 2 Men and a Truck and spoken to a manager, *********, who repeated what I had been told about the pricing. ********* went on to say that the only way to fix this is to hire them again, paying full price, to finish the move I had already paid for. This is not the first time they've done this. This is not the first time ********* has been stated by name of running this scam.

We are an hourly service and will do as much or as little as needed per our customers' request. The total bill is based on an hourly rate that starts at the pickup location and ends when everything is unloaded at the final location. We also have a service fee that covers the use of the truck, basic moving equipment and the travel to the starting location and back from the ending location. The initial estimate and call have been reviewed to ensure this was explained accurately.

At the beginning of this move, the customer discussed her request of 2 hours of service (per her budget) with the driver and our Operations Manager. As requested, the crew loaded, drove and unloaded as much as possible within that time frame. Unfortunately, when working within specific budgets we are not always able to move everything. It was also mentioned during the initial quote that she had a specific budget and would only need specific items.

Moved my stuff on 5 August. Things were not where they were supposed to be items were broke. They shoved stuff in my back bedroom and they didn’t use the whole room. They just filled up the front where the whole side was empty and couldn’t get nothing else in there dropped refrigerator and shove the refrigerator sideways and the extra building outside And I’ve been charged numerous times and I don’t understand why and I shouldn’t be charged after the things that was broke and one of the guys was really rude saying he couldn’t do this. He couldn’t do too hot and blah blah blah so I don’t think I remain balance that $500 should be put back in my account. I think we pay the 2016 or 13 whatever it was was good enough .

We are sorry to hear that ***** is not satisfied with the service she received. All of our correspondence with ***** during each of her moves was positive. Our services are billed hourly per what is requested by our customers. After our first day packing and moving ***** we discussed having a crew come out the following day to finish with the move. All pricing was discussed and agreed to prior to scheduling additional services. The charges being disputed were based on time and supplies used to complete the job scheduled over the course of 2 days. After the move was completed, ******* daughter reported a handful of miscellaneous damages to which we asked for pictures or records of in order to open a claim. She stated that she wasn't sure what all of the items were and that most of them had already been thrown away. Without know what the items are and/or verifying the damage we are unable to create a claim.
